We are using two of the passage style levers in black for our exterior doors, combined with a kwikset smart deadbolt lock so that you cant accidentally get locked out, these are much better quality than the knock off cheap-o ones we ordered on this site that we have for our interior doors. The cheap ones the paint is cominf off after a year, these kwikset ones are doing great still

Good looking, and I like the locking mechanism. The only thing that is a bit of a drawback is that it requires more pressure than it should to move the handle. But it's a great contemporary look, and I was happy to find a modern style squared handle in polished chrome

These are solid handles. The base is slightly larger than expected, but this adds to the robust sturdiness when installed. The only down side is that even though the handle can be disassembled, the position of the screws is statically vertical and cannot be changed to horizontal, which made installation in our case slightly more complicated, a small change to the base internals design could have made it possible.
