We use these in a water jacketed boiler that burns large amounts of wood to heat our entire home. The Kwik-Shot works well to keep the creosote falling from the sides of the boiler and chimney. Takes some work to keep the bottom of chimney cleared of the creosote, which is mandatory to avoid fires, but better than having a fire inside the chimney. Doesn't replace a chimney cleaning at least every other year depending on how much the boiler is used over the winter, but makes the cleaning much easier, so a do-it-yourselfer like me doesn't have to pay a fortune to a sweep. Recommended.

I have a wood stove that doesn’t have near the soot and creosote that it used to get.The only problem was the last order came with the canisters broken open, and had to repack them.This product used to be made in the USA, now they are made in china, but it still works.

I ordered 2 of the 3 pack Kwick Shot Soot removers. One package was fine; the other had 2 of the packs spilled out into the box, leaving a cat litter mess to scoop up, in order to use it. I'll not order this again, but try the 2lb plastic tub that comes with a scoop.
