KYHSHJ Floor Socket USB CFCI TR series
This model features waterproof gasket with IP44 waterproof rating, and corrosive resistant hardware， Floor boxes are a great way to modernize your home or business, increase the value, and the functionality.
METHOD OF USE
In the closed position the top is ETL compliant to keep out dust and scrub water, there is also a gasket under the bezel to keep out water from entering from the sides.
KYHSHJ floor box can be installed in hardwood flooring, carpeting, tile flooring, granite and marble counter tops.
The floor box is 20 amps with tamper resistant plugs, and is ETL listed and water rated, including the outlet.

Any excess wires should be pushed out of the box or made to be as flat as possible on the bottom of the steel box. Failure to push the wires out of the box or make it flat in the box will interfere with the opening mechanism and the unit will not be able to pop open.
WARNING:
To avoid the risk of fire, shock and/or death, turn power OFF at circuit breaker or fuse. Always test that the power is OFF before wiring.
This device must be installed and used in accordance with appropriate electrical codes and regulations. Prohibition of children under 18 years of age.

Works well, however, I'm doing all I can to prevent people from trying to push it closed without them knowing that the button needs to be pushed to allow this. Mine are mounted into my deck so replacing them will be a major pain !

This was a great get. I switched out an old pellet fire burning stove for an electric fireplace and need a new outlet for the electric fireplace. I didn't want to build an in wall unit b/c I was installing over stone so an infloor outlet was the best option. I am happy I selected this outlet. It's stylish and functional. When it's not in use, I just close the top and it blends in well with my hardwood floor. I've accidentally stepped on it a couple times while painting and no damage. Really love this product.

Installed two and will have to replace one within 18 months. They look GREAT and install easy BUT you must push the button to close them which isn't a problem IF you know about it - it IS a problem when people step on it to close it and snap off the little flanges that hold it down! Or, in my case, someone moves a low table over it and breaks it.I am not sure if I would recommend them in all honestly. Yes, they look awesome. Yes, I love how they close. Yes, they work perfectly. The push button close instead of just "push" close is my only reason for hesitating.

You have to push the button to both open and close. This is because there are latches on the bottom of the support to keep the outlet open and do not allow you to close the outlet unless pressed. I think this is a good thing so the outlet is not accidentally closed while in use. Installed in a hardwood floor. Works as expected, suggest using a torx but or flathead to tighten the luggage nuts as they tighten better. This was the GFCI model.

I put this on a counter top. It is very handy, but is out-of-the-way when you don’t need it.
