Good price. Looks good. Threads strip or break very easily, even when not overtightened. Yes I'd buy again but be careful with the threads...

I needed two plastic waterproof 2 Gang electrical boxes, one deeper than the other. This one the, YXX-Tech brand, was deeper than the Ball. So I got one of each and the Ball Two Pack of Covers. I finished with YXX first and plopped the cover right on and tightened down nicely. The injection molding of this piece is of good quality with thick walls, visually very clean and perfect. The specified Ball cover for this box the screw holes aligned perfectly. Although the covers are big, they have enough foam seal to hit the edges. This cover does not fit the Ball version of this box.This box does have a lot of holes with adapters and plugs for each.

These are great boxes! There are 3/4" ports everywhere and enough plugs and 3/4x1/2 threaded bushings to accommodate any configuration you need- up to 3/4" of course. I always seemed to have the wrong configuration on hand before, and the wrong box typically costs more locally than these anywhere boxes. Just the reducers supplied, if bought locally, would cost what these boxes do for everything. There are four external ears for mounting. I received one box that was missing an ear, but I just ran a screw through the inside. I have gone to just threading the conduit end when possible so that no adapter is needed.

Bushings, plugs and 7 holes makes it easy to use, but when shipped in a bag the mounting tabs snapped off in shipping. Replacement was ok.

Worked well in the backyard with a GFi plug. Construction and material is ok.

I read reviews saying there is not enough room in the box, which is true if installing a GFCI receptacle. I had to remove the nub on the bottom to enable the GFCI to sit correctly. Other reviews say mounting ears break easily. Mine did not. Some say the receptacle mounting screws are too long, and I agree but will add that the mounting holes had no threads. I had to find some self-tapping screws. There was also talk about the lack of a gasket. I had to apply some roofing caulk to the back of the box because I could also see the leak potential. I finished the installation, but there was too much work and annoyance involved for me to use one of these again.

One of the mounting tabs was broken in the shipping bag when this box arrived. Oh well, I didn’t need them all, so I installed the box anyway and another tab broke when I screwed the box in place.
