La Bella Has Over 400 Years of String Making Experience
The tradition of string making dates back to the 1640s in Salle, Italy, where the Mari family supplied gut strings to the famous violin builders of Cremona. In 1913, brothers Olinto & Emilio Mari arrived in New York bringing their family craft to the States. Over the years, the brothers shaped the landscape of the string industry with their innovative designs. Every set is manufactured using a perfect combination of traditional methods and latest technologies to produce a superior string.
OU80 Oud, Turkish Tuning
The oud is the classical short- necked, bowl-backed fretless lute of the Arabic world. With 11 or 12 strings in 5 or 6 courses, it is usually tuned d'd'/aa/ee/BB/AA/G. The OU80 set can also be tuned CFAdgc' for certain Arabic ouds. Rectified Nylon & Silver Plated Wound Designed for Turkish tuning 11-String Set String Gauges:

The best, second to none. Some may like a less crisp tone for an oud, but for me a crisp tone makes the strings sound new. Prompt delivery and the price was very reasonable.

Me ha llegado un producto no corresponde a las caracterÃsticas descritas en la pagina web y es diferente a lo que he pedido. AL abrir las bolsas de las cuerdas, me he dado cuenta que no tiene dentro todas las cuerdas como se describe. Es una pena que no pueda devolver el producto porque esta abierto.No lo recomiendo a nadia.

The title says arabic oud strings, but it is actually turkish oud strings that comes. So confusing.
