The problem you found were that the solids would clump together in the bottom of the bottle and become difficult to shake. This was not good for you as pigments are an investment in quality work. This is no longer an issue if you have used these glass beads in the bottles. Most folks use the metal pellets for this, but sometimes metals are not compatible with all of the solvents you use. I chose the 3mm beads to use in my enamel paints to help agitate them. They easily pop in the jars/bottle and rattle around well to mix the paint up.Mine came in a pouch and not a tube as show on the item's description page, it doesn't bother me though. The beads were all perfectly round, a great quality item. These are very tiny (about a third to half the size of a pea) and should be kept away from little hands to prevent accidental consumption or other accidents.

I use these in my makeup (liquid) and skincare products which can separate (organic makeup and skincare doesn’t contain the emulsifiers that conventional products do, so they usually need to be shaken before application). These work wonderfully in helping to keep things blended properly for application without having to worry if they will react with the ingredients in my products. When I am finished with the product, I simply rinse the containers out and dump the beads into a fine mesh strainer, wash & sterilize them, and put them back into the bag for next time.

I forgot that 3mm is about 3/16 of an inch. So I ordered a size smaller than what I wanted. But that’s okay; they should still work. I got them to assist in mixing small amounts of glaze and other decorative solutions I may put together. The beads are uniform and round, and I expect them to do well.

i tried to melt them with my triple flame torch and they glowed but didn't melt and didn't crack when they cooled.
