After a poor showing from an HK416 that was returned due to it not functioning out of the box, we ordered this one. I was beyond impressed, for $50 more than the low quality plasticky HK we received this masterpiece. It is quite hefty and the polymer is of substantially higher quality than the cheap ABS plastic that the HK was constructed of. It has a high amount of metal in it's construction, very realistic detailing, and is fully upgradable. It has performed flawlessly, even with the hand tensioned spring high capacity magazine. We did order a 70 round single stack no wind magazine with it as well, and it functions flawlessly with that one also. Battery life is very good even with the included nimh battery. The packaging was very nice. 10/10 would recommend this gun to anyone looking for an entry level airsoft rifle, it is worth the negligible amount over your typical umarex big box store versions-so before you buy an HK or gameface, give this one or any of the Lancer ones a look. You will not be disappointed.

I have tried other brands airsoft guns like king arms, amoeba and game face but this is my favorite AEG lancer tactical is a good and reputable company, if you have a problem, they will get it fixed, these airsoft guns last a long time if you take care of them.

This is my first AEG. Its shoots amazing for my first time with this kind of airsoft gun. The price is affordable for everything you need start shooting right out the box. After researching this model, all parts are available to repair. You can buy higher quality parts while using the main frame. Easy to replace parts to shoot softer or faster. The gear box and motor are easily replaceable with stock or upgraded parts. I had to adjust the hopup dial to shoot straighter. Shot low out the box. For a airsoft type gun it shoots pretty accurately. The weight is manageable. Higher end models would be lighter. Great airsoft gun for the first timer.

this is a well built m4 model i have shot like 500 shots so far and its held up the same as i got italthough be careful opening it you have to pull the charging handle and it does not have a limit halftaken apart and if you pull it too far you will end up stretching a spring and the charging handlewill not spring back anymore but all&all its good all you need to do is be soft on it BUT DONT GO RUFFON A GUN PLEASE.

Fantastic airsoft gun for anybody looking to get into the game on the cheap, design of the hop up is great and enables really precise adjustment. Battery is stored in the stock which is a pro in my opinion as other guns I've seen have them in the handguard and some have trouble getting it in and out. Overall great gun definitely performs outside of it's price point

I have several airsoft rifles and this one is just ok. It's not very reliable and feels pretty cheap overall which was disappointing because it does look cool. If you are looking for an inexpensive airsoft starter gun on Amazon, purchase the Gameface Ripcord M4 instead. It's cheaper and much better quality. I wish I would have purchased something else instead.

This was a Christmas present for my 10 year old son. He's two years away from a real rifle. So this is a great gun for him to learn on. I taught him gun safety, gun range safety, how to adjust the sights. We have a great time together, father and son, shooting target practice. He's a better shot than I am.
