Pretty good tape measure, at first I thought it was going to be cheap material but no , turns out the line is pretty thick and sturdy great value for the money I’d say

The tape reels up and unreels very easy. Tape material is durable enough to pul tight over a distance. The handle makes it very portable. The measurement markings are very easy to read. All in all I believe it is a good value for the money. My purchase was to help map out my survey pins. As I said. Worked perfect. Would recommend.

After one use the pin fell out of the handle somewhere in a grassy field making the product worthless. Why waste materials on such a poor design? The manufacturers should be embarrassed and ashamed.

Wish I'd have read the reviews first, instead of going by the stars ratings. I had the same problem others had. The cheap pin, that DOESN'T secure the crank handle, fell out the very first time I used it! It was lost in the ground, as I didn't realize that it, along with the handle were gone After spending about 10 minutes walking around in the woods of my property, I was able to find the handle. To make it usable again I took a large paper clip, bent it with pliers and doubled it and using the pliers, pinched the two sides of the paper clip together so it could be fed through the tiny holes. Then I began working/feeding it through the small holes of the main unit and handle, from one end to the other. It took me about ten minutes, but I was able to get it through, then bent the ends into a loop, so the sharp ends weren't sticking out. It's IMPORTANT to note that you need to leave just enough of the starting point into a loop, sticking out of the end you started feeding the paper clip through. I chose to double it, to make it more secure. The metal paper clip is very strong and like I said earlier, it took me about 10 minutes. Look at my two photos.
