I love this. Great price. And it was easy to put together. I joined it exactly as it shows in the pictures. I screwed in the top and bottom screws then the middle ones on each piece.I found some of them you couldn’t tighten much by hand. They felt “stuck†but by holding the nut on one side with pliers and screwing them in on the other side - they all went on easily. They look like they might be uneven but once it’s all together - it looks fine.Mine is a creamy butter color. And looks very nice. It was light enough for me to lift easily but sturdy enough to stand up. I used 5-6 cu feet of soil to fill it. I would buy this again.

I think I could now be considered an expert on these. I have purchased several of this style (and other styles) from this brand and have put them together, put them in place, leveled them and filled them myself. It can be done as a single person project but be patient, these are a bit repetitious and tedious to connect. I chose this brand because of the thicker metal and once filled with dirt they are pretty stable but don't plan to put your hand on the edge and lean over; the edge won't hold the pressure. What I like, is the thicker metal, the finish that comes out of the box ready to use without having to remove any plastic wrap or coating and the nuts and bolts can be hand started and easily tightened with a basic screwdriver. What I do not like are the support braces! This is a silly design. Although I have mastered these support braces; they are just not adequate. Way too tedious to put together and install and not nearly as strong as I would like. And yes, I am doing them the right way but they are just not designed they way I would do them...I would include a solid one piece bar that is consistently sized to ensure uniformity and not the thin rods with 3 separate long bolts to each set that are currently being included in these kits. Additionally, there are not enough of them. I would have added at least 2 or 3 more to each of my boxes if I could have. Land Guard, please amend this design and include a solid one piece support brace and more of them please! Lastly, yes, you can buy several of the same design and create your own custom boxes. I bought 2 of the 8x4x2's and combined the side panels to achieve a 12 foot box. Final dimensions being 12 feet long, 4 feet wide and 2 feet high. If you combine these two 8 foot boxes into one box you do not get a 16 foot box. Your total length will be 12 feet. You will be left with 6 round end panels you can put together and get a fantastic 4 foot diameter 2 foot high round garden box that for whatever ridiculous reason; you cannot buy from Land Guard as a stand alone item. I have done this method with the 4'x2'x18" boxes as well and got several cute 2 foot diameter boxes as left overs to the combination of several of these kits. Again, combining 2 of the 4 foot long boxes will not get you an 8 foot box; you will get about 6 feet in overall length. So, despite the poorly designed support braces, I will be buying more of these to continue to add to my garden. I like the look, the ease of assembly and I hope they last a long time. Happy gardening.

This raised bed was easy to assemble and quite sturdy, especially when filled. I filled about halfway with broken branches and torn up cardboard, then filled to top with a light mix for containers. My (southern) winter garden of lettuce, carrots, onions, carrots and peas is growing very well in this raised bed. Great for the price!

I got 2 of these and I like the slightly green color that I got. They are study and easy to put together. The key I found to assembly is to put together the 2 ends and then attach the sides and do it in the normal upright position. There is no need to force the nuts and bolts and I was able to assemble both units by just using my hand to tighten them. Once complete I went around with a screw driver and tightened them up, but not over tight. I didn't have the experiences that others have quoted about issues with construction and have to use multiple tools to assemble. The panels don't necessarily match up 100% but this is for the garden, so no big deal. I did think I would put some pool noodles around the edges to protect from cuts etc.. but in the end I don't that is necessary as it would take a real unfortunate person to actually hurt themselves on the edges.I choose the 2 foot high containers as I don't have to bend over when tending to my veggies and it really makes a difference especially as I am 6.2 and 62 years old.One word of warning. It take a lot of soil(and money) to fill the 4ft high raised beds. I used some small tree branches and peat moss to fill the bottom 2 feet and then a mix of soil and mulch/fertilizer for the top 2 feet.
