I bought this sewing kit for my mother for Mother's Day. As someone who has enjoyed sewing for most of her life, she said this kit was very easy. She likes the 11 point count, as it is easy to follow, and she also likes how the kit comes included with pretty much everything you need.After she completed it, I think it looks very good. Very close to the sample picture.If you enjoy this type of sewing, I would recommend this kit.

First time doing a stamped cross stitch, and at first it was very confusing. The instructions weren’t exactly the clearest, and it didn’t explain the color let very well so when I opened up the fabric and saw all these crazy colors and patterns and it didn’t look anything like a peacock I was lost. But I googled how to do stamped cross stitch and quickly figured it out on my own. It comes with two needles and the floss you’ll need BUT I will say that several colors I ended up running out of and had to go buy the equivalent color in the DMC brand. The colors were slightly different but thankfully there’s so many colors on this one that you can’t tell. The needles they sent me were also bent which made it a little challenging but nothing terrible. Just make sure you keep the page with the color key and the list of DMC equivalent colors so that you can buy more of the ones you’ll run out of.

When this kit first arrived, I had my doubts.The fabric is stiff and has vivid bizarre colors for the stamped pattern.I tried it anyway and it came out beautifully.

Usually, you can see a pattern shape of picture before you start a stamp cross-stitch and only the colors on canvas are different than corresponding # thread color you place there. I've done a third of this and still can't make out any design. Will update if I continue to finish it.Update 5/7/24: I am almost finished and Beach design is recognizable now. Most stamp cross-stitch doesn't have outlines/bordering instructions like Blank canvass cross-stitching. I might outline myself to enhance design. Will post image when finished and washed.
