I have a Dell Inspiron 3891. A lot of the newer PC's are starting to not include CD drives so I went ahead and ordered a Blu-Ray drive for my PC. It was very easy to install and the system picked up on the drive immediately after powering on.I did run into a situation. It could be from the windows aspect, or just that the CD drive was different, but I ran into an issue when installing a game through the CD-ROM drive to where it said "An administrator has blocked you from using this app". Luckily, I was able to YouTube how to fix the error and it worked like a charm!I would highly recommend this drive and will post pictures later! If you run into the same issue I have, YouTube how to fix it and it will give you a step by step guide!

Purchased to upgrade the drive in my laptop so I can watch BluRay movies. For now I have it mounted in an external enclosure (purchased separately), and it works like a charm. When I have more time to goof off I may look into permanent installation in my laptop, but it's perfectly fine as an external add on.

I bought this drive because the OEM one in my laptop had a dying read laser. The read laser on this product works fine, but the write laser is faulty. I wasted 5 disks before returning the defective product to Amazon. Every failed burn would go fine for about 2~3 mins, & then would fail and throw up errors. I boughtÂ
 as a replacement, & am able to burn disks again.

I bought this to upgrade the standard DVD-RW that came with my new Dell 8930. Figuring out Dell uninstall was probably the hardest part of the effort other than the front cover swap. I was really concerned about breaking something, but eventually got the cover off that came on the new drive and put the shiny unmarked Dell original on it.

Installed in my Dell inspiron 3910 works great fits good only thing I could not use the two mounting serewsto hold the drive in place, but even so it still works ad looks great.

I wanted a Blu-Ray for my Dell Precision T5810 to burn large amounts of data to discs. It was recognized by Win10 on installation and I was able to burn a Verbatim BD-R DL (50GB capacity) with no problems, using the Microsoft disc burning utility in windows 10. The discs were VBR260YP50V1.

Replaced original, non-functioning, CD/DVD player/burner, with this blu-ray player/burner, in my Toshiba P75-A7200 laptop.Much faster than my original player/burner was, back when it was working. Installation was easy, and performance is great!

Mashita optical drives region code cannot be switched using the device manger/properties. The region code is burned into the hardware on these drives. I returned mine.

The optical drive was easy to install and was immediately recognized by Windows 10. It both reads and writes Blue-ray and DVD discs. The playback quality for both formats is excellent. The burner is fast and reliable. A real bargin that delivers.
