I absolutely LOVE this bread box! We use the Sunbeam "Giant" sandwich bread, so it was important to me to have a bread box that was long enough for a full loaf, and this one is perfect! We keep regular bread on the bottom and buns, crackers, etc on the top. There's enough room behind the loaf of bread for a couple rolls of crackers, too of you wanted. It looks super nice on my counter and I get compliments on it every time somebody new sees it. The doors lift up and slide in which is nice because then you don't have a door taking up space on your counter top when it's opened. I will say this, you do need to be gentle with it when opening, as the doors have a peg on each side that slides into the "track" that is pre-carved into the wood box itself and if you don't put the thing together precisely right, it ever so slightly "hangs up" and doesn't slide open as smoothly. (This happened to me and now the top door doesn't slide open as easily as the bottom door.) If you have small children that will be using it, this might not be the one for you. It's not terribly difficult to put together, but it took me and my husband to complete ours because you need someone to hold the sides of the box in the correct place when it comes time to attach them. There's a lot of steps to it, so being able to follow directions is also important. The box we chose is black on the outside and the shelves are bamboo, it looks really nice together! It has a vintage and modern look at the same time. Oh and the packaging is the absolute BEST and NICEST packaging I've ever seen! Seriously, when you get something packaged that nicely, you know it's quality! It was well worth the price and I would not hesitate to buy it again!

The company first had this package in a beautiful box. The way it was packaged you could have given it as a gift. The bread container was so easy to put together. This is a beautiful bread box. It’s is so sophisticated that is more than a bread box. It looks exactly like the picture. I usually don’t send in reviews but I was so impressed with the packaging alone. It was in a beautiful box and wrap so nicely.

We had our kitchen redone and I needed a new pace to keep our bread and wraps. This was simple to put together and is so pretty on my counter. It had plenty of room for a full loaf of bread in one shelf and lots of room for wraps and other things on the other as well. I’m glad I made the choice to get this one.

Space provided is quite adequate- when opening and closing doors, do so carefully so as not to damage connecting hinges. Looks classy!

Bread box was not what I expected . It was poorly made . Probably won’t last . It looked better online than in person . Wish I had my money back it was not worth what I paid for it
