Surprised how sturdy this is. Very well made and quality material. Both baskets have feet & could be used separately if needed. (My old single basket was flimsy and 1 petal broke off. )

It took awhile to get item delivered. Ordered on Feb1st, package was delivered Feb10th after many delays. However this is a great Food Steamer, and very versatile.

Depending on what you are steaming, sometimes hard to get food off the top steamer. But love the handle that goes down so you can put a top on the pan and when you need to take it out, handle raises so you don't burn your hands! Only wish the handle would work if you only use bottom steamer,

The double decker here is great, and opens as broadly as you need for both layers. Means you don't have to steam things in batches! It seems well made and is an excellent value. Super easy to put together (30 seconds!)

I use this to carefully lower eggs into boiling water for hard-boiling. With the long extending center post and ring, it's perfect.

So impressed with this versatile two-level steamer rack. Designed to fit a variety of pot-diameters... and can be used as a solo rack as well. Cook ahead for the week, and steam two veggies at once. Or poultry (or dumplings) on the "ground floor" and veggies in the "penthouse". 😉 Can't wait to steam the rest of my cousin's handmade tamales; one flavor on each level!

I'm really enjoying using this steamer basket. It has all the features you need and nothing to complicate it unnecessarily.Starting with the center post, it's an extendable handle that makes it easier to place/remove from a pot of boiling water without burning your hand. It's also removeable, so if for whatever reason it's in your way, give it a quick unscrew and you're good to go.In the open position, the basket itself functions like any other and it opens and closes with ease. I found no burs, sharp edges or hanging bits of metal during its use. Overall fit and finish of the product seemed quality from the metal perspective.Lastly, the feet. most of the other steamer baskets have metal feet, however this one has a silicone sleeve on the bottom of the feet to protect your pots. It's not an issue if you're using these in tougher pans like cast iron or stainless, but on a teflon pan or non-stick surface, these little silicone fight can help to reduce the marring of your pan finish and prolong the life of you pans. Big fan of this seemingly small but significant feature in my eyes.
