This jerky gun is very well made. It's exactly what I expected from the photos. It's very easy to use and clean. I definitely got my money's worth and would recommend this one.On the other hand... I make a lot of jerky. A few pounds a month. Using this gun was my first foray into making pressed jerky. I used 95% and 98% lean ground beef on different occasions and it didn't come out well. Too wet, the jerky didn't dry well and became flaky when it dried. Anyway... if you haven't done a pressed jerky before, don't expect it to turn out well without a lot of trial and error.

This is my second jerky gun so I have a base to compare to. I also have a SIGVAL Frontier jerky gun that I couldn't use for a while waiting for a replacement part to arrive so I decided to buy another gun as a standby. This one is a nice overall jerky gun, with a good set of attachments. I also like how the plastic gasket on the plunger is designed (part that broke down on SIGVAL) so that ground meat doesn't get inside that part. However, two things I didn't like about it: first it is too small, it is about 1/2 the size of SIGVAL, so that fully loaded it doesn't have enough ground meat to load one rack on Cosori dehydrator. It is only enough for about 2/3 of one rack, so you have to unscrew and load it again and that takes a couple of minutes even with two people. Second, you have to be careful with the plastic gasket as it tends to unscrew itself. By mistake I pulled out the push rod completely when gasket unscrewed itself and later realized that I have to disassemble the gun completely and reassemble it to make it work. If this gun falls apart on you, don't take out the push rod from push lever mechanism, but if you did, take off plastic covers and put everything together in proper positions and then use the rod to keep everything in place. I could only find one instructional video for a different brand, but it gave me the idea about the process. In short, if you do small batches of jerky or sausage, this is a good enough gun, but if you load few pounds at a time, buy a bigger gun to save yourself some time.

We purchased a half cow last year and had a bunch of ground beef to use. You can only make so many hamburgers. Plus I had wanted to try making jerkey and had done so with the better cuts. But ground beef jerkey was new to me until I started watching some vids. You can roll it out like pie dough and cut it into strips, but this gun makes it so easy, plus clean up is a breeze. The prep time is cut in half or better if you were using cuts where you had to shave the beef. The texture is a bit different between ground and cuts. My wife likes to call them dog treats. But she eats them. The addition of all the brushes for clean up is a real plus.

It worked as expected and easy to use and clean. Wish the tube was bigger but it was worth the money.First time making jerky. I've dehydrated a lot of fruits and vegetables over the past 8 years so it was about time I did jerky.

Love this product.It is quick and efficient and easy to clean.My only issue is that the double tip puts out strips that are too thick. My husband in going to squish the tip a bit because I want the jerky flatter because I want thinner, drier jerky.

I bought the meat gun to make my sausages and beef jerkies . Good price & quality !Easy to use and quality . Strong and easy to clean .I recomend the product .However , i was waiting to be delivered . Look like you need to allow that 😇

this works perfectly, better than advertised… saves me a tonne of time making meat sticks… I can squeeze out 66 nine inch sticks in no time (max that fits in my dehydrator)it’s also pretty easy to clean, just use really hot water and manually dry it to avoid rust (it is stainless steel, but i do it anyway)They also appear to have listened to one of the reviews that suggested adding a silicone/plastic plug into the holes at the back so meat doesn’t get stuck in them as mine has little white inserts blocking the holes

Product is of good value. Only complaint is we wanted a thinner product and the thinnest is quite thick. Nothing a hammer won't fix
