I love this cooler bag! Has so many compartments to hold keys, wallet, make-up and snacks! Kept my beverages nice and cold and leak proof! It’s also pretty light weight even filled to the top with cans! After spending the day with me and my cooler my cousin bought one too! Fantastic purchase! Very pleased!

This might be the best insulated bag/cooler I’ve ever purchased. It’s perfect for my mother to use for a day at the beach & pool. The straps, extra pockets, and size are amazing. It’s more comfortable and functional than I expected for the price. It’s sturdy and as long as it’s taken care of properly i believe it’ll last a long time. Even packed full to the point of cramming as much as possible in it didn’t feel like it’ll break, rip or leak. I highly recommend it for those who only want to make one trip to the beach or pool instead of many. I highly suggest this bag to anyone who hates lugging around those giant plastic coolers up and down stairs full of ice, drinks, etc. this is a life saver! You’ll have to “break it in†and it takes 2-3 uses but after that it’s smooth sailing.

OK, the company did contact me immediately after my initial review. They sent me out a different backpack. I tested the backpack by putting water directly into it and setting it on the table. I am happy to say it is 100% leak proof at this point . I love the fact that they contacted me immediately when I had a problem with their product. Within two days, I had a new backpack to replace the old one and the new one seems to work perfectly fine and I absolutely love it!Old reviewNot only is his product, not waterproof, it also leaks down your back if something leaks inside the backpack. I do like the storage compartments. I do like the size and the comfort, but do not buy it if you think it’s waterproof!

So I have went through maybe five of these cooler type backpacks over the years so I do have a lot of experience with these. They all come with their own features that set them aside from others. The things I really like about this particular bag or its size as it's rather large in comparison to other brands. It seems sturdier and doesn't break down when you set it down without any items inside which other brands seem to have that issue. I do wish it had a hidden Pocket located on the back side for security reasons. My only concern is how this bag will hold up over time but most of these bags I only get a year out of with daily use at construction sites so I beat these bags up a lot. What typically tends to happen are the straps eventually break or the zippers stop working so hopefully this one will Outlast others I will revisit in 6 months to a year for an update.

I was a bit dubious about this actually working, but it really did remain leak-proof. The exterior bottom of the cooler bag gets cold, but not wet. I am not a tall person or strong person, so putting it on when it was full was a bit of a challenge - I had to put it on a table and put it on from there. The chest connector at first seemed to strangle me but once I adjusted it, it was actually very comfortable. I usually use frozen water bottles instead of ice, and I was impressed at how long the water bottles stayed frozen. They were still mostly frozen 8 hours later, and I had to take them out of the bag to thaw out. I didn't have it in full sun, so that likely helped. But it was still impressive. I put baby wipes and napkins in the top zipper portion, and opening the main compartment with the baby wipes made the top kind of flop hard but it held on. I do wish that the handles on the side were more like the handle in the back (between the shoulder straps - hard to see in the pictures), with the grip. When full, carrying it by the back handle is not feasible for me and the side handles are not as comfortable. I put a fleece throw blanket on the top under the bungee rope and it held perfectly. I was able to pack 6 frozen water bottles, 6 not-frozen water bottles, 6 - 8 capri suns, and sandwiches for 4 people in the main compartment. My friend wants the Yeti backpack and I'm way too frugal to spend that kind of money. After using the Hulongo bag multiple times, I am very happy with the value of my purchase. We've even just put it in the trunk of the car with ice packs to keep drinking water cold so after shopping / running errands, we can still have a nice cold beverage. Have to be honest, though, probably wouldn't take it on long hikes because it would be too heavy for me personally to carry (because I can really load it up!). But short hikes or walks from the car to the picnic spot are perfectly reasonable. Or even leaving it in the car - it works just as well as my large cooler but doesn't take up as much space. I really do love it!

Love this cooler. Its roomy and water resistance. Great quality. We used it as a lunchbox while driving to Sturgis. It works amazing.

I like this cooler if I don’t plan on using it for an all day thing. I took it boating and about 6 hrs in when the ice starts to melt it will leak out the whole bottom. Works great though if you use ice packs or only need it for a few hours. The quality of the zippers and material I do like. And the backpack was comfortable when it was heavy and full.

This backpack cooler has worked well for our family of four. We have reusable ice packs that we use instead of ice. We used ice once and did not have any leaking. The durability is good, keeps items cold and I like the sleek look as well. The material is easy to clean if needed.
