I know this is just a pepper grinder but it has such a great feel and looks awesome in my kitchen. My eleven-year-old has quadrupled his pepper intake since I bought this because he says is super cool and he loves using it.

I bought this to replace a pepper mill from Macys that broke soon after I bought it. I like its minimalist design and its tall and slim profile. It doesn’t take up much space which allows me to also have my salt cellar, oil dispenser and plant on a small tray. It has a dial that you can adjust the pepper grind from fine to coarse.

i purchased this for 2 reasons: 1) looks attractive and modern 2) has ceramic grinding stones. It has a lid on the bottom to catch all of the loose ground pepper as well so you don't end up having pepper dust all over your counters (or dining table)What i didn't consider is that the pepper mill is TALL and skinny and it can fall and roll off the counter easily. 2 weeks after the purchase, it cracked and broke, spilled all of the pepper corns when it hit the ground (plastic portion of the barrel has a lip that keeps the metal cylinder and the plastic transparent portion screwed on together. With part of it chipped off, i decided to continue using it (carefully) - which was a mistake for sure. I should have tossed the pepper mill into the trash.A few weeks after the first incident it disintegrated over a big bowl of my potato salad and deposited plastic shards into the food. I am very disappointed in this product to say the least.would never recommend this to friends and family. Just pick a regular looking sturdy pepper mill (or use a simple stone grinder)
