I have been researching these for years. I wanted USB rechargeable, I did not want removable/replaceable batteries. It has great adjustment from coarse to fine, with ceramic burr grinder. Very well balanced in the hand and the switch is conveniently located. There is nothing not to like.

Why did I wait so long to get this? I cook so much and love using coarse pepper but it's expensive. I bought this mechanical grinder and some peppercorns and wow! What a game changer. So much more cost efficient and pepper tastes so much better. Do yourself a favor and get one.

I would have given this 5 stars, except I think they should include a plug, as I don't have a computer in the kitchen with a USB port. I had to go out and buy a plug that a USB plug can attached to.

I have arthritis so grinding salt and pepper hurts my hands which is why this electric grinder is awesome. It holds a decent amount of pepper corns or course salt so refilling is infrequent. Stays charged for a long time and easy to recharge. Great when cooking, too, because I only need one hand to grab and grind. I do keep them (I grind both pepper and salt) in little dishes with the bottom covers removed so I don't have to remove the bottom covers each time I use them and the counters stay clean. Ordered another pair for the dining table and they look great.

I really like this pepper mill. It has light that points to where the peppr is going so you can really see what you're doing. It is fast and very efficient.
