So this does have assembly required. It's three pieces and they are held together by bolts and they provide you with the hardware and the tools to put it together. Very easy to work with. It has a sharp part on the bottom and then like jagged teeth on the sides of the shovel part of it. And I was using it out front and I am quite happy with it. It's easy to use. It seems to be sharp enough and getting through and making that nice clean line. My sidewalks definitely needed this and I think this works well.

I love how well this edger works. It’s lightweight and easy to use. I can’t wait to use it on doing an edge for a new garden. Made with quality materials that will withstand the test of time. Easy to assemble. Comfortable to use, nice sharp blade. Definitely worth the money.

The edger provides a thin edge vs a thick edge, not quite what I expected based on the advertising

My husband had planned on using a shovel to dig up the trench to place pavers around a landscaping border...I showed him this before ordering and he said the shovel would work just the same. I ordered it anyway and he admitted that it was way faster than the shovel! Durable and sturdy holding his weight.

It worked well making the edge of my grass look straight. Very happy with the outcome. The only issue I had was with one screw. One malfunction, but my husband luckily had a spare to replace it. My husband also had to help cut the grass edge, as I weigh less and we have crapy clay soil. Other than that, it works well!

I was excited to use this item, but it did not work for me. I can only assume that my dirt/ground it too hard to even cut through. This can work if you have looser dirt/ground.

This edger was easy to use and made quick work of edging about shrubbery. The quality is great for the price. It also came with gloves.
