These lights are a beautiful warm color. The tubing itself is pretty thick but it does help with waterproofing, though I live in a dry climate. Fits well for what we wanted it for and very versatile on things we can use it for.

I like the 33' length. I was able to use 1 length from the bottom of my stairs to the end of my deck. Then I attached both lengths together, fed the skinny power lead under my deck stair and came up the other side and around the grill to my back door. Now one remote switch controls both sets as one. They are 3/8" in diameter and the sleeve is soft and easy to work with. I used small wraps and was able to pull each strand nice and tight for a nice clean line of sight. I'm very happy with these lights.I am revising my review after having these lights for 2 years. . The lights are great and bright. Unfortunately the POWER SUPPLY only lasts 1 year. Because I had bought 2 sets and strung them together i only used 1 power supply in my application. After the first year when the power supply died I still had the second one to replace it. I want to contact the seller to see if I can buy a new power supply because without it, the lights are useless. VERY sad that these lasted only one month! They are totally dead now. I had the outlet checked to be sure it was not that and it was indeed the rope light. I enjoyed them while they worked, but not worth the money for one month worth of lighted stairs. These were not cheap and I tried to get the warranty offered but the seller would not respond, AVOID THIS SELLER AND THIS PRODUCT!!!!!I bought these to light up my deck stairs after purchasing numerous solar lights that stop working within weeks. My little dog has trouble seeing the steps at night. I lined the steps with these, they’re perfect! It rained all day and the lights were still working.

I plugged these in right after getting them and they worked great. After getting them set up on my patio, I plugged them in again and they blew out.

These lights are straight forward and simple, no changing colours or a remote. They are a warm white light that can be connected. No timer/remote so I plugged my outdoor extension cord into a smart outdoor plug - timer issue solved. Happy with the colour and the tube seems very protective of the lights and easy to work with. I wrapped the lights around the hand rail of my deck.

Will update in a few months, but as of now out of the box and up, these lights are soft and bright enough to light up the gazebo and area.Can’t wait to spend the evenings outdoors this summer!

These were so difficult to find but these were worth the search. They are long enough to outline our rooftop terrace, look warm & beautiful, easy to install with zap straps along each glass upright support. Delivery was FAST and efficient.

The lights are nice, easy to work with and waterproof. I put a back over the plug in case the rain go to it, but have had no issues. Would be nice if they had a white version, but these work well.

More than rugged enough built for its purpose. Not so bright that if you look at it you see stars afterwards. My mom loves it out on her deck. Can't get her back inside. (Tech tip: These are 3/8" of an inch in diameter. Make sure that is the size of the electrical cable clips you buy. They are ideal. 1/2" will fit loose. I didn't get clips with mine. That's okay. The clips I've seen others come with are usually deficient compared to the $2 package at the hardware store.)
