Finally found the right strand lights for our uplighting. Others were too bright. These are just right!

These beads made a perfect garland for my Christmas tree. They were easy to apply and I had plenty to go around my 10-ft tree. The gold beads sparkled with the lights and gave it a beautiful look!

Lights are as expected- incandescent christmas lights in a rope format. Great. The little rope clamps that you can use to support it are trash on plaster though. The little screws are too small for drywall aka the walls of an apartment. May be better on wood, i don't know. Easy fix is to use small nails instead. They secure the clips with a single nail sometimes- much better than the screws and easier to lay down.

A great effect for my patio. They are easy to install, you just need a hammer and a couple large cable staples. I plug mine into a timer. This my second set, the previous one lasted over 5 years before the clear plastic faded and it finally quit. I think that's a reasonable service time for the price, making it a good value.

I'm an electrician by trade, so I knew to be careful when installing this rope light. It worked before I hung it up, but when I turned it on a few feet were unlit. Also one clip broke during installation.I understand rope lights aren't the toughest thing in the world, but there is no reason it should break during a standard installation. I was careful and did not pull the light tightly at any point. Now I'll need to buy another. Cheap.
