The driver seat cushion of my 2019 Toyota 4Runner was wearing so I considered a protective cover. Rather than a slip on cover with multilayered materials, I opted for this thin glue-on leatherette mainly because the thick stuff would very likely defeat the seat heater in cool weather. I admit to not cutting the material as accurately as I should have. I suggest cutting a template of semiridgid paper or thin carboard then overlay the repair material and trim to the template. How long this last and to what extent it stays flat and not wrinkled will be determined with time. Regardless of how well it fits or becomes wrinkled, it will definitely protect the seat upholstery. I'll use it as-is then decide if I should renew it. Wth the amount of material supplied, I can easily remove and redo the entire project. I can't give 5 stars until I evaluate it more. Lastly, in my case of the 2019 4Runner, the color match was perfect.

My father in law’s dogs were trying to get a packrat under the seat of his quad car (what do you call those things?). Anyway, this product neatly and effectively covered rips and makes the seat look almost like new.
