I wanted to try my hand at leather stamping. The set came with all the tools I'd need, but I am finding it hard to get the stamp to be permanent on some leather items I have. Makes the indent to start, but fades after time. A fun beginners project, but probably not the best set to use long term.

Vine Customer Review of Free ProductThe major flaw with this beginner level leather stamping kit is there are no instructions included. Like some of the other reviewers I practiced on some flawed pieces of scrap leather before I ever considered stamping onto leather I will use for products I create for my Etsy Shop. Two handles are included in this set and fit onto the various dies. A double sided mallet comes with the set and works fine. The individual dies include the entire uppercase alphabet, numerals 0-9, and 32 assorted shapes including heart, star, moon, butterfly, different insects, and various sports. I’m grateful we can look up how to use a leather stamping kit online and learn to perfect our skills. I recommend this stamping set as long as you realize there are no instructions included in this beginner kit.

The impressions are so poor that it can hardly be distinguished. I have a small set that I bought in Switzerland and there is no comparison between the two. This is probably OK to use on clay even though I didn't attempt that. On leather or on wood, good luck. I will not buy any of these things even from a flea market. Don't waste your money. I tried it out within my 30 days window, and returned it. Amazon is great on that count.
