DISCLAIMER: I returned this product without actually riding in itThe first thing I noticed about this "shirt" as I pulled it out of the box was it's weight. I suppose "light" is relative to what you're used to. I've been wearing the Troy Lee 7850, and was looking for something that was actually CE rated, as the 7850 is not. This one caught my attention because almost all the pads are CE rated, 3DF material. That all comes with a price apparently, not just in dollars but in weight.This thing felt like it weighed a ton. I'm a BMX racer, and weight is king in our sport. We use titanium bolts to shave ounces off of our bikes. It felt like I was wearing a weighted vest when I put this thing on. I realized then that this, although advertised as bicycle protection by the manufacturer, is meant more for motorsports. I can't imagine not being able to feel this thing while riding. If I ever start racing Motocross, this will definitely be the body protection I'll reach for. It fit very well (6'1 180) and provided a ton of coverage. As long as I'm on a bicycle though, this is a bit much. I'm giving 5 stars because the weight is provided on Leatt's website, and it fits the bill for what it's touted to do. Do your homework if your'e looking for something "Lightweight".

I had a similar setup years ago that was very uncomfortable (different brand). This is surprisingly light and comfortable in comparison. Highly recommended

I wear a large in the Troy Lee and The Race Face Flank Core. This large was way too big so I returned it for a small/med and it fits perfectly. These are meant to be snug on your body. The zipper feels kind of weak and seems like it will easily start unzipping with gravity assist like other people are saying. Other than that, it’s awesome.Update: Now I’ve used it a couple of times. Getting the zipper started once you put it on can be a little fiddley but buckling the side strap first helps. As far as the zipper coming unzipped with just gravity, if you tuck it in to the zipper hood at the top, it stays. It’s super comfortable all day at the bike park. No crashes (yet) but it definitely seems like it will minimize the damage.

El producto se ve de buena calidad y viene sin defectos, bien empacado y entrega rápida, pero uno se lleva una sorpresa cuando ve que no es el producto que compro, no sé de qué producto son las imágenes que se presentan en esta publicación, pero el airfit lite al parecer no tiene protecciones nivel ce 2 sino ce 1 y en la espalda tiene una puntuación de 3 y en el pecho 4, obteniendo una puntuación final de 18 en la gráfica de indicador de protección, cuando use el producto unos dÃas daré el resto de mi opinión, por ahora muy sorprendido porque no recibà lo que las imágenes describÃan. Dejo las imágenes del catálogo de leatt del producto que realmente me llegó.

strange fit but it was nice and light weight. could see it really being really great BUT without a kidney belt it moved around to much. didn't ride with it so really look around for other reviews..... i returned it and went for the alpinestars bionic tech jacket.

La verdad es que ya he probado a comprar varios modelos, buscando la que sea cómoda, en nivel 2 de protección en todo y a un precio razonable.Ya me he caÃdo y roto ligamentos, se me ha salido la clavicula...Tras pasar por el quirófano y después de 6 meses de recuperación, la llevaré puesta aunque vaya en bici a por el pan.No mas sustos!Al final, tras probar Fox, Leatt, Alpinestars o Acerbis, he comprado dos modelos que me he quedado y devuelto el resto.Esta opción de Leatt, la tenia en el punto de mira, por ser más ligera que otras opciones y por el nivel de protección.La otra, es de Acerbis, Peto Integral Acerbis X-Fit Future Level 2, que uso en dias de mas riesgo ya que es de nivel 2 en todo, aunque mucho mas "grande".Lo primero, las medidas.Yo mido 1.84, peso 84kilos y soy de complexion normal, ni gordo, ni flaco, ni barrigón.La L me va bien en ambos modelos✅✅✅LO QUE ME GUSTA:- Protege bien todas las zonas y quedan bien en su sitio- Se nota que la llevas los 2 primeros minutos pero luego, nni te das cuenta- El jersey, por fuera, casi no delata que la llevas puesta.- El sistema de cierre, es comodo y una vez ajustado, queda muy bien.- La tela es cómoda y transpira bien. Se agradecen las aperturas en las axilas, completamente al aire.- La cremallera, se cierra bien y es cómoda.- Tienes amarres para el protector cervical si lo necesitas también.- Las protecciones, se pueden quitar para lavar- La protección de la espalda, es muy grande comparado con la Fox Baseframe Pro que también habÃa probado y que finalmente he devuelto (por eso y otros motivos, especialmente el sistema de hebilla de cierre)- La parte trasera, es mucho mas larga también en esta y llega casi al coxis.- La protección del pecho, llega hasta debajo de las costillas, cosa que la de Fox, no haceâŒâŒâŒLO QUE NO ME GUSTA- El nivel de protección es 1 en todo y me gustarÃa que fuera 2, aunque reconozco que las protecciones, dando algún codazo o golpe en los marcos de las puertas o paredes, no se nota blando. Parece que hará su trabajo si hay caida.- La apertura en la parte frontal de la manga en el codo, es algo incomoda y se clava tras un rato- Las mangas, quedan por el antebrazo aunque el resto quede bien con la talla LLo mejor de todo, es que la he comprado por 164 euros, en una oferta sin motivo aparente.Espero que no haga falta probarla pero me gusta como queda y como se siente en la bici!Los descensos ahora, serán algo menos "peligrosos"

Absolut tolles Produkt. Ich bin 1,86 m ca. 88 Kilo sportlich gebaut und habe Größe L bestellt. Es liegt unglaublich gut am Körper und alles bleibt wo es soll. Zuerst dachte ich, wie einige andere auch der Rückenprotektor sei zu kurz doch das Gefühl habe ich im angezogenen Zustand nicht mehr. Ich kombiniere das Oberteil zusätzlich mit der Leatt Shorts die zusätzlichen Steißschutz und Beckenknochenschutz bietet! Die Verarbeitung ist super und was für mich ein Kaufindiz war, ist das luftige Gewebe. Da ich nun keine Sommerrezension schreibe wird sich das noch klären ob es stimmt, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Modellen sehr gut. Zuvor hatte ich einen Fox Hartschalen Body - der nun - absolut ausgesorgt hat. Nachdem ich das Leatt Oberteil anprobierte war der Unterschied einfach wie Tag und Nacht. Viel mehr Bewegungsfreiheit bei nicht weniger werdendem Gefühl trotzdem geschützt zu sein. Ich empfinde das Gewicht als voll in Ordnung, aber ich bin auch etwas breiter vom Kreuz. Laut Verpackung 1250 g. Das nächste Produkt was ich hier nach gewählt hätte wäre das POC gewesen. Allerdings ein Mehrpreis von 150 Euro damit es auch in der gewünschten Größe ist ? Dann lieber die Leatt Hose dazu und noch 70 gespart! Dieser Kauf war spontan und absolut kein Fehlkauf. Kann das Ding wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Preis Leistung absolut i.O wenn man sich das restliche Programm zur Zeit ansieht. Und - das Ding sieht auch noch stylisch aus.Hier noch was für die, die immer was zu meckern brauchen. Protektoren für den Bizeps sind zwar supi, aber meiner Meinung nach hätten diese besser angebracht werden können so sieht man sich den Rest des Teils an. Aber im Gegensatz zu anderen Modellen hat es halt welche.Also wer momentan zwischen POC und Hartschalenbodys reumelt, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Ett väldigt lätt och smidigt kroppsskydd som dessutom är BRA ventilerat och andas därmed bra. Känns knappt att man har det på. Endast level 1 i skyddsfaktor men för mitt vidkommande så väger smidigheten tyngre (och då används skyddet istället för att hänga i garderoben).Rekommenderas!
