I've used many lanterns over the years. An old kerosine lantern on hand for blackouts when I was a kid. White gas/propane Coleman's. 6volt incandescents. AA led. Lots of different lights and lanterns for camping, prep for power outage or getting away from light pollution to photograph the night sky, need something hands free to illuminate my work area. This thing is super impressive. Idk if it's actually 1500 lumens but it did light up my living room. So I took it out on a little excursion. It did everything I asked of it and more. First thing is the build. It's all plastic except the hangers. Those are metal. But the octagonal edges are a rubberized materiel that makes it nonslip and combined with its weight the lantern feels robust. The eve the photos were taken it was raining off n on and it handled the wet just fine. Don't know that of submerge it but it was just fine with a little rain. It's very durable. Upon returning from my excursion I had all my gear on a cart which caught a door edge and everything on the cart came down. The lantern was on the top and fell 3 feet to the concrete floor. The battery compartment lid came off and batteries went everywhere. Dang it. I just got it, now it's broke? Nope, I put the batteries back in and it fired up as new. Terrific. It's worth the money. It puts out great light. It's tough. Looks cool and I'll be buying a couple more.

Love all the different brightness levels. Purchased it to be on hand in case the electricity goes out during a storm. Highest setting is plenty bright. It perfectly fit our needs.

I purchased this lantern to go camping. It is very bright. It has different modes and the batteries last a long time. This is a high quality lantern for the price. You pay. Great product. Very durable and lightweight. Highly recommend it

I bought this lantern for camping after finally giving up on my old school Coleman lantern. It gives off a good amount of light and the intensity can be adjusted down if needed. This lantern worked very well for our camping trip, and I still use it for home projects when I need portable lighting. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is a bright, nice sized lamp. We purchased it for power outages and it definitely lights up a fair sized area. There are three levels of light output to select from, which I like.

A must have for power outages or outdoor lighting, I use them in my group hang out area on my property and they provide great long lasting lighting.

I purchased this lantern to replace a broken one for use in an emergency situation such as a power outage, hurricane, etc. This is an awesome lantern. It performs as described, is lightweight and very bright and came with the batteries already installed which is a big plus for me. I am super pleased with my purchase and thankful that it arrived promptly. I like to have several on hand, so I may be back for another one soon. I love it and highly recommend.

Pour un usage en cas de panne électrique et la nécessité d'avoir un éclairage d'appoint. Il y a quatre niveaux d'intensité (bouton poussoir) et la plus haute est SUPER brillante. Donc, il ne faut pas la regarder directement dans les yeux à la plus forte intensité.

WOW!! I was not expecting the light to be this bright! I am so pleased with this! I live tucked into the woods a little bit, and even with outside electrical lights on the house, I don't like going outside at night without a lantern. I have small dogs and I like to walk around the yard with them at night while they do their business, and this light is incredible as it lights up everything. It's nice to be able to see what could be lurking in the woods! This makes me and the dogs feel safer. This will be fantastic during power outages too, and I am so glad that I bought it. Thank you to the manufacturer! :)
