I recently got my hands on the LED Light and TV Backlight Tester, and I couldn't be happier with this little tool. It's a must-have for anyone into LED repairs, whether it's for TVs, computers, laptops, or any other LED-based devices. The gold-plated pins are a nice touch, ensuring a solid connection without damaging the LED beads. The adaptive voltage range of 0-300V makes it suitable for testing all kinds of LED beads, and the included power cable is a convenient addition. This tester has made troubleshooting and repairing LED lights a breeze. It's straightforward to use, and the results are accurate. No more guesswork or trial and error when trying to fix LED issues. In short, if you're into LED repairs, this tool is a game-changer. It's affordable, reliable, and a valuable addition to your repair toolkit. Highly recommended!

I had a renter that left a LED TV with me, so I attempted to repair it. The tester told me that a lot of the backlight LEDs were bad, and that was the problem that was causing the TV picture to come on, and then go off repeatedly. Unfortunately, when I was taking the TV apart I cut what I thought were pieces of tape off that were attached to the LCD screen, but it turned out they were ribbon cables going to the LCD boards that were glued to the frame. I should have just removed the boards from the frame. Anyways, I ended up trashing the TV.

Feels cheap in your hand with inferior materials. But it does the job well. Accurate readings but not sure if or how long it will last.

Worked right out of the box. No setup. Voltage settings are automatic. Probes are sharp and well made. Well worth the price.

$17 tester + $30 replacement backlights + YouTube tutorial + a bit of patience = several hundred dollars in savings over the cost of buying a new TV!I'll start by saying that I was, early in my career, an electronic technician, so I'm very comfortable working on electronic gear. That said, I believe that anyone with a bit of DIY aptitude could use the tools listed above to inspect and, as needed, replace a bad set of LEDs in a TV. The purpose of the tester is simply to confirm that the original LEDs are bad. You could skip that step and assume that replacement will correct the issue, but if you're like me and tend to apply your skills to help out friends and neighbors, then the $17 spent can become more of an investment in good will.In any case, it worked, and if you need it, buy it!

I repair tvs quite often, and needed a good back light strip tester. This tester does exactly what I needed it to, and it's super easy to use. Just turn it on and it's ready to go. I like that you can test one individual lamp, or many at a time without any damage to the leds. It also helps me to diagnose an led strip by showing the voltage that the tested leds are using. I highly recommend!
