Bought a total of 25 of these for a basement remodel. They have been in about 3 weeks. They are plenty bright; probably just as bright as normal 6 inch incandescent recessed lights would have been. Also, they were cheaper!! Arrived quickly with 2 day prime shipping. We had little space between the suspended ceiling and joists, so these worked perfectly. They clamp in easily. I put them on LED dimmers and they dim ok for LED. Not a real smooth transition, but I am very satisfied. Also I love the color of the Cool White. No yellow hues. I spaced most of them at 4 to 6 feet apart and they provide plenty of light all over the basement. The silver color of the housing looks great against the white ceiling! The only thing I will say is, the leads aren't very long, so it makes it hard to connect in a junction box that can't be placed right above the light. We don't have building inspections, so we just wire nutted the lights in series and then wrapped each of the connections in electrical tape. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you are in an area that isn't easily accessible to check for problems but so far, we've had none. I would totally recommend to anyone looking for modern, efficient, compact lighting at a great price.Update: 1/26/16 These lights are still going strong after a year. All 25 of them are still functioning correctly. I highly recommend these lights.

Very surprised for the price. Having a dimming issue only dim about 1/2 then go off (using a LED dimmer). Going to try one more dimmer but the light works great and looks good.

Great light. A little bluish white. A warm white is too yellowish and cool white is kind of blue white. Need a third option for someone to choose lights in the range of 4500K-5500K color. Transformer is kind of cheap plastic material and heat up fast, so safety is a concern here. Wires are too short and small ga, you need to put all wire connections in a metal box to meet US codes when install these lights. The gap between the light body and the trim part is also a concern as your AC/heat air can leak thru the ceiling and down/up. Dimmable range is too small and hard to see its effects if you are used to a descending lights dimming.

Needs very little ceiling space, which is what I was looking for, good lighting, however the bulb is really huge, and not very elegant, I ended up taking them out and replacing them with a tiny LED strip... Would work better in an environment where light is important and look is not!

Excellent product. I bought 6 for my basement to replace fluorescent lights. They are working as expected and were simple to install.

Lighting is Great I used a Lutron Maestro Dimmer works Great ( I give a 5 in this Category). However I like to listen to Radio at Night and RFI is Horrible. Radio is completely buzzed out by this Light ( I give it a Zero in this Category). If you are not a Radio listener by Bedside or Kitchen this Light is for you. I installed this light over my Combo Bed Headboard, Mirror, Drawer Unit. I am thinking of replacing it with a newer Lemonbest Unit touted as "No RFI" - (Radio Frequency Interference).

Old led ceiling light is replaced with new one. It works well and very bright. But, I cannot estimate the led driver's life expectancy.
