Beautiful, quality china. The genuine deal - hand marked. I had a hard time getting this pattern from BB&B without blemishes. Got a few with very small blemishes here - but Amazon was quick to replace them. And these are half the price of other places! Couldn’t ask for more. Perfect size for salad or soup.

I purchased these bowls to use for Spaghetti/Pasta, at first I was worried they might end up being too small but in reality they prove to be about the right size for a single serving, leaving you room for perhaps a second but otherwise plenty for the average person.The quality is unbeatable, true bone china with platinum bands just looks elegant. Obviously you have to treat them right as they are not microwave safe and should be hand washed if you ask me.

Cups had chipped edges when arrived. Looks like they are very fragile and chips easily. Have used Lenox cups for more than a decade and did not have any chipping problem with them. Looks like the new ones are not of the same quality as the earlier ones.

We registered for this china at Bed, Bath and Beyond, and after our wedding when we were looking to buy the remaining sets, we found that they were much cheaper here. We ordered a few sets, and all of them were in perfect condition with the exception of 1, which had a broken plate. I was very impressed with how quickly they sent us a new set and how easy (and free) it was to ship the broken set back. We love the simple, elegant and timeless design of the china!

I bought this at Amazon for half price of retail, a great deal for a rare piece, anything in the Federal Platinum series that has a cover is rare and expensive. Hard to beat Lenox quality for formal dining sets. It's actually quite large and elegant but simple. Great price and well packaged

Esperaba el paquete con mucha ilusión, pero, al abrirlo, el sentimiento fue de desilusión. Los platos ya no están elaborados en Estados Unidos (ahora provienen de Indonesia) y tampoco dicen, como antes, Fine Bone China, sino que ahora solo dicen Porcelana. Todo eso indica menos calidad, pero no mucho menos precio. El verdadero problema es que no nos advierten antes de comprarlos para que tomemos la decisión adecuada. Me siento engañado.

Would have given them a 5 star but saucer arrived with hairline cracks in bottom.Likely will need to exchange. Love the simplicity of the pattern. Set Arrived quickly!
