At last, equipment designed and built for photographers. Replaces the worthless Nikon foot on my Nikkor Z 800mmlens. Love the squishy grip for carrying. Makes a solid connection on my Arca Swiss clamps. I highly recommend this.

A welcome accessory to replace the non-Arca original foot on my Nikon Z 400mm f/2.8 lens. Up until now, I had added an additional Arca-style plate to the bottom of the original Nikon foot and while it worked fine, it added weight and bulk to my setup that I didn't need or want.This Leofoto foot is a perfect replacement. It fits the shape of Nikon's mount perfectly with the exact same corner radiuses. It's longer than Nikon's (a plus in my book) and has a similar thick pad underneath the handle which is a pleasure to hold when walking with the lens.Of course the biggest improvement is the addition of the Arca-style mounting rail across the bottom that every photographer I know has asked for. It also has an added feature of having a military-grade QD (quick disconnect) port on the bottom which my shoulder sling can mount into.This is a five star product built for professionals and being sold for a very reasonable price. Got this Leofoto arca-swiss foot to replace the stock foot on my Nikkor 800mm f/6.3. The stock Nikon foot has a really nice rubberized pad on it to make using it as a carrying handle (which I do all the time) very comfortable and secure. I was thrilled to find this Leofoto foot with a similar rubberized pad. And because this foot is longer than the Nikon foot, there is more space for your fingers, making this foot even more comfortable to use as a carrying handle.There are other brands of aftermarket tripod feet out there, of course, and some of them are very expensive, some more than twice as much as this Leofoto costs. I can't imagine what makes them worth the extra money. This Leofoto foot is made from a solid piece of aluminum and the fit and finish are excellent. It comes with all the mounting hardware and tools needed to replace your stock foot and it fits perfectly and is extremely solid and secure. It is better than the original Nikon foot in every way. So hey Nikon -- get it together and stop making your customers spend even more money on an aftermarket tripod foot after already spending thousands of dollars on your lenses.

An almost mandatory replacement for stock foot and a much more economical alternative to competing products from Kirk or RRS. Form factor is excellent with nicely rounded edges, good clearance, generous length, and a nicely padded grip.
