The ideal height for the drum throne is a height where your hips are slightly above your knees, which creates an angle of around 100-110 degrees. This gives you flexibility in your pelvis while allowing your lower back to be straight and not extended.

For a budget cost, it does the job. After 2 hours or so playing my drums......I started to feel uncomfortable. But for the cost, and not always playing for hours, it'll do.

I purchased this to use as a guitar stool. It is solid and adjustable. No instructions on which end goes where when assembling so had a couple of tries to get it right hence dropping to a 4 instead of 5 star rating. However, I am happy with the product and it is light weight but solid to sit on, no wobbles.

In many respects the stool is just what I need. However, it is not as stable as I had hoped. The rod connecting the seat to the legs doesn't fit as tightly as I would like. Consequently, the seat wobbles. I have improved, though not eliminated, the issue by putting foil into the gaps with a dental tool. I wasn't expecting to have to do this.

So this drum seat is fine to get you started until can afford something better, especially for the price. If you're 6ft+ this will be to short for the ideal slope that meant to have in your legs for drumming. You could build a cheap plinth for it to raise it up cheaply maybe ? But also! The seat pole is wobbly even when fully tightened. If can afford another 30 quid spend the extra for the quality.

Awful product. Nothing in the way of any instructions, with every screw tightened it still creaks and wobbles, horrible to adjust and broke within just a few hours of use
