The charger is a great value. I used it as a level 2 (240V) charger at 24 amps (on a 30 amp circuit), and it worked great. I also used it as a level 1 charger (120V) with the adapter which was included, and it also worked great. It easily connected to the smartlife app with no difficulties. The Tesla connector feels high quality and fit well. The wiring feels very thick/heavy duty, so I hope/expect that it will be durable. There was also a mounting kit included. I haven't used it, but it looks like it is good/functional.

The overall performance and convince make this charger a worthwhile investment for out Chevrolet Blazer EV. The app is an added convince that makes this charger a worthwhile investment. I highly recommend the AIMILER for a hassle-free EV charging experience.

We have a Chevy Bolt and a Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid Plug-In. So we already have a GrizzlE car charger and an Emporia charger, which is hard wired. The GrizzlE car charger broke! No power when plugged in! I didn't quite "panic", but I ordered this one out of prudence due to the very affordable price. I'm going to start with the cons:CONS:The power cord is WAY short! And it has the power cord on one end and the charging cord on the other end. not ideal for weather resistance and for mounting in a good place. I wanted to mount it on the (outside) wall where the GrizzlE is, but that would be almost impossible since the outlet is only about 18 inches off the ground. the only thing I actually could do is get or make some kind of dryer extension cord for it. I sure don't want to take it apart and risk voiding the warranty! And then, there are the warnings about putting it in direct sunlight or letting it get rained on heavily (I can't remember the exact wording.) That doesn't exactly inspire confidence. BOTH the Emporia (GREAT charger!) and the GrizzlE have been completely out in the sun and rain the whole time!It won't go above 32 amps. This is not much of a con for me. The outlet for the GrizzlE only has 10 gauge wire going to it from the panel about 50 feet away, so if you listen to all the electricians, even though that's good for a 40 amp circuit breaker, 80% is 32 amps, which is EXACTLY what this thing does! (The Emporia, on the other hand, is hard wired, thanks to a Chevy offer, and can do the full 50 amps.)PROS:Just about everything else! Starting with the price!! So far, I've only charged the Bolt once, to make sure it works and I had it set it for 32 amps. I followed the instructions, plugged it in, and it worked immediately! It's as portable as it can be with a big, thick 25 foot cable (that you actually need, of course.) It has a very nice carrying bag! It displays the voltage, the charging current, the (its) temperature, and a running total of the kwh it has sent to the car! It's solidly and well built, and the part with the electronics is very compact. It has a plastic holder that you mount on the wall and a plastic holder for the cord that you can mount on the wall (somewhere else if you want to) and hardware is included. Everything you actually need for a very low price! So, the Emporia does the Chevy Bolt, which has a relatively huge 65 amp/hour battery and this one, even though it's not mounted yet, will charge the Ioniq, which only has an 8.9 kwh battery and refuses to charge any faster than 16 amps in the first place. And if I can figure out how to fix the GrizzlE (when I have some serious time on my hands), this one will make a great portable spare charger!! I'm happy with it unless it breaks right away or something (which will cause me to update this.)

Works great with our Tesla Model Y. It was very easy to install with my 50 amp circuit (which was already there for my other EV). In few minutes I was able to charge my Tesla at 32A. Charging cable is long enough (no extension needed). LED indicator is useful to see the charging setting/status. Excellent quality. Using every day to charge Tesla for last one month. Very happy and highly recommend this product.

Ordered this to be my home "in garage charger" and keep the simpler OEM unit for "in the car" travel. Unit has been great and really like the display screen and info provided there. Delayed charge start on the unit works well as intended. Was very convenient to get the App going as it added right into the Smart Life App that controls all my programable lights and switches - so far have only used the App for monitoring charging and getting the charging summaries and data. When the power rates change in spring we'll look at both the resident car charging and the Aimiler options for scheduling. Installing/mounting the unit and getting it going is straightforward.

I've been using this budget-friendly charger for about a month now, and it's proven to be a reliable option with some minor caveats. While it’s not a "smart" charger in the traditional sense, it's not entirely lacking in features either. Here’s a detailed look at what works and what doesn’t with this product.Reliability and Performance:First off, the charger has been dependable throughout my usage. It does what it’s supposed to do without any hiccups. It charges consistently and has held up well over the past month, which is a good sign for its durability and overall functionality.Scheduling Capabilities:Here’s where things get a bit tricky. The charger doesn’t have advanced smart features, but it does offer basic scheduling options. You can delay the charging start time in hourly increments, which is a nice touch but somewhat limited. For my needs, this wasn’t sufficient because I have an old Nissan Leaf that doesn’t handle scheduling well on its own.To work around this, I’ve had to get a bit creative. My utility provider offers lower rates between 11 pm and 7 am, so I need to manage charging times manually to take advantage of these rates. I’ve implemented a system using the charger’s delay start feature and an automation routine in the app to handle this. Here’s how I manage it:1. When I come home, I plug in the charger.2. I use the delay charging mode in the app to start charging after 11 pm.3. I’ve set up a routine in the Smart Life app that triggers action "Switch:OFF" to cut off power before 7 am.Interestingly, the "Switch:ON" feature doesn’t work as expected, so I can’t use it to turn on the charger at 11 pm. As a result, I have to rely on the delayed charging feature to start charging. However, the "Switch:OFF" function works well for cutting off power before 7 am. While this setup isn't perfect, it effectively gets the job done. Conclusion:Overall, this charger offers solid value for money. It’s reliable and serves its basic purpose well. However, if you’re looking for advanced scheduling and smart features, this might not fully meet your needs. For those with simple requirements and a bit of patience for workarounds, it’s a practical choice. Just be prepared for some manual adjustments to get everything running smoothly.

I highly recommend the AIMILER for a hassle-free EV charging experience.

Charger is great, plug and play, app is useful but not needed for the charger to function. Amp charging speed is adjustable very easily (30amp circuit and I'm charging at 24a), the app shows how much power I've used in a selected amount of time to figure out your usage costs.

Charger has dramatically increased charging speed over a standard 120V outlet. My hybrid charge time has been reduced by 4.5 times. Helps me get much more range out of my EV and therefore saving more money on fuel. Very happy with the build quality, ease of use, and the accessories. As a portable charger you can also take it on the go if you need, though I leave it plugged and locked in at home. Very pleased with this charger, the price is excellent and it's been running very well for several months now.
