I saw one reviewer say that his was severely out of round. Ordered with a bit of trepidation - arrived today, looked OK. I stuck it in a 12" three jaw - nothing fancy, import chuck, not even really clean - 0.014 TIR - I'm happy with the pieces that I received.

Was really excited to turn this on the lathe but it isn’t quite round. It’s very oval shaped and won’t clamp into the chuck fully.

This stuff works well on a lathe. It has high dimensional stability. However, it is very brittle -- that's not a problem with the manufacturer. That's just the way this material is.
