I like these shorts, contemplating getting other colors true to size I’m 165 pounds 5‘6“ and I purchased a size large

I recently purchased the Libon black cargo-style shorts to replace my well-worn pair of black shorts. I was a little unsure about sizing, as my waist measurement corresponded to an XL, while my hip measurement aligned with an L. Since the shorts have some spandex and an elastic waistband, I opted for the L, thinking it would be better to accommodate my wider hips when picking the size.Unfortunately, while I was able to get the shorts on, the waist was quite tight as I pulled them over my hips. I should have trusted the waist measurement and ordered the XL. Normally, I size up for my hips due to their wider circumference, relying on the elastic waist for a comfortable fit. While the waist now fits perfectly, the initial struggle to pull them on was a bit concerning. On the positive side, I love the length and the material. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and has a quick moisture-wicking quality, perfect for the Texas heat.My only real complaint is the small pleats in the front. Because the shorts are a bit snug, these pleats pull slightly to the sides. However, since I bought the black version, this is less noticeable. It also won't be an issue when I wear a t-shirt untucked.Overall, these shorts will definitely replace my old pair. I'm looking forward to wearing them during the warmer months here in Texas!

We are going on a short tropical cruise this Spring, and I needed some pants that aren't jeans. These fit and look more like a skort than a true short, which is fine with me, as my thighs are larger, and I appreciate the extra room. The fabric is lightweight, silky in feel, and will definitely dry out quickly in high humidity or rain. The item seems well made, with no loose stitching evident. They machine washed and dried perfectly, with any wrinkles dropping away when they were hung up, so they are perfect for travel. They are available in 6 colors, designed to please most everyone. I got the army green, and it is just as shown. I got the 2XL, which makes them large enough to ease over my generous hips, but then the waist cinches nicely, so I don't feel like I'm wearing a rectangular sack. I appreciate the inner drawstring, as it can be tightened and tied without showing through my tops. These hit me just below the knee, which is perfect for me. I am only 5' 2", so these will fit taller women more as shown in the post.

They fit in the waist and hips, and the pockets are roomy and genuinely cargo pocket size. The fabric feels nice, though I haven't tested waterproofness. I'm short (5'2") and they come to just above my knees, which I like for hiking to prevent thigh chafing. They're roomy enough in the thighs not to ride up. The light gray is as expected from photos. The only downside is they really show off the camel toe. They don't feel uncomfortable in that area, so I think it's just the way the fabric stretches. I will still wear them for hiking, because I prefer function over appearance for that, but won't wear them in general public because of that.

I usually wear a women's size large, and these fit completely true to size for me. They're nicely loose in the legs, which will make them very comfortable for clambering over rocks while hiking rough trails. They're very lightweight, which will be good for keeping cool while hiking. The fabric is lightweight, and the pockets are of good usable size. I ordered the navy color and it's exactly as pictured. The waistband has a good amount of stretch, so it fits very comfortably as I move around. It doesn't roll like some shorts and pants I've had try to do. The shorts fabric is soft and comfortable. It only has a small amount of stretchiness but it seems like it would be enough to add extra comfort in the rare event that I needed to push the limits of the fit (but I have enough extra room in the fit around the legs that I don't think that will happen very often, even when I'm climbing rocks.)The length is fairly long for shorts, so these will remain quite modest even when climbing with others climbing up behind you. That's important for my purposes since I need to be able to wear them on group hikes as an adult leader with a large group of preteens and teens.

Absolutely love these shorts, and ordering more. 🙂 They're very well made, and look like something you'd pay a lot more for at a sporting goods store. A couple things not called out in the description that you might want to know:* SUN PROTECTION - The fabric is 50 UPF. UPF stands for "ultraviolet protection factor". It measures how much ultraviolet (UV) radiation can pass through clothing and reach your skin.* ROOMY POCKETS WITH VELCRO FLAPS - Velcro flaps on the 2 cargo pockets help you hold items more securely. The cargo pockets are large enough to hold a phone.* "WATER PROOF" - These shorts are polyester, and a hang tag says they're "water proof". The fine print says "Outer water resistant finish helps shed light moisture but is not completely waterproof."* DON'T USE FABRIC SOFTENER OR DRYER SHEETS - The inside label mentions NOT to use fabric softener on them. When polyester fabric has been treated to repel water, fabric softener will compromise its water-resistant properties. This includes both liquid fabric softener and dryer sheets. So if water resistance is important to you, take note and just hang them to dry. (They will dry quickly.)I'm 5'7" and 210#, and the XXL fits perfectly.
