This tape is may be even better than the blue tape I’ve been using for 20 years. It seems a bit thinner and therefore easier to control and place in corners. At the same time, the tape is very strong. It does not break unless you tug at it with the intention to break it.Twenty-two yards is at least twice as much as I usually get in a roll. Having more rolls with less amount is working out very well while painting many different rooms in my house. Everyone gets a roll and we don’t have to share.I have not tested leaving it on for days to see if it gets stuck since I'm painting as fast as I can so we can move in. However, I did not expect to be so excited about tape but 5 stars it is.

This tape worked great! I hate to spend money on masking tape for painting projects because I'm usually disappointed that the tape leaked - but this didn't. I got a crisp line after I was done painting, and this peeled right off without damaging the sheetrock or wood! It stuck well, also, so I didn't have to worry about pressing it back on like some other brands I've tried. I'd definitely buy this again because it worked so well!

My wife goes through so much blue tape. She likes to mask out on the walls exactly where she wants to hang photos. And it's not just one photo- it's an entire array of photos covering the whole wall. And then that tape comes down and a different arrangement goes up. These rolls seem to do the same job without breaking the bank, compared to if I was buying name-brand tape at the local hardware/home store. I haven't seen issues with retained adhesive (the tape never stays up longer than a few days before it's taken down). I guess if you plan on taping something and then leaving the tape for half a year, you might want to go with the expensive tape, but for our purposes this is a great value and we'd probably purchase again if and when this supply runs out. (Just depends on how many more photo-wall arrangements we need to visualize.)

My RamblingsWe use painter's tape for everything. I use it for masking off anything I don't want over spray on, or to make designs, kids use it for fun stuff & creating new and interesting things, and we all use it to hang things temporarily on the walls. So let's take a closer look at this tape.To the Point or TL;DRIt's Blue, It's Tape, It's works in all of the above situations. Seriously? Want more? Okay.18 rolls of 1†tape at 22 yards long. Shorter rolls than Big BS, so these equal about 6 rolls of what you regular buy. These rolls have a good cost per foot value when calculated (like I'm going to do that. yep, sounds just like me). Overall, good tape.The Good StuffThis is good temporary tape that does what you ask of it. As long as you don't ask it to hold furniture on your ceiling. It does the job of holding blocking paper in place and creating a straight line for keeping spray paints, varnish, etc. off your projects or floors. The kids have fun with it and at the lower cost per foot, I don't stress out as much when I see them with a roll doing who knows what with what is usually a billion dollars with of blue tape. Overall, this will serve us well.The Bad StuffNothing. Holds for the temp jobs I need it for and cheaper than Big BS.Who May Use/Like ItThose wanting to thumb their collective noses at the high cost of painter's tape.Me Final ThoughtsThis kind of tape is temporary. I'm sick of paying a fortune for something I use for a couple of days or so. Glad I found this.That's my story and I'm sticking to it. At a little over a dollar a roll, this is a great value. I compared it to the 3M painters tape I usually use, and the tape material, glue and overall fitness for use are equivalent. The 3M tape might be slightly thicker, but if it is, it is minimal (and this tape feels slightly more flexible. It stuck to areas I wanted it stuck to, and was easy to remove when I was done). This is great tape at a great price.

This is a standard painters tape that seals seams OK but I wouldn't plan on using when a perfect paint edge is needed. It's great that so many rolls come in the carton; however, the amount of tape on a roll is about half of what I used to having. For the price, it's a good tape that doesn't leave adhesive behind.
