My first drum. I chose this particular one it for the elephants, after narrowing down the choices that fit my criteria. Has a decent sound. Can definitely get the 3 distinctly different sounds from it. Took it out to my first drum circle and played about 3 hrs on it. Definitely fun! Looks pretty. Nice weight to it. On my particular one, though, the carry strap is very short so only enough to use to carry it by hand. One of the pics looks like it's longer, like a shoulder strap. Definitely can't on this one. Not a really big deal. If you get a carry bag, you'll get a strap on that. I'm not bothering. I'd recommend it. Nice drum of a decent size for the price. Smaller than this would definitely be too small.

The instrument is well made and a bargain at this price. It is pleasant to hold and play, and is made to pretty high standards for this price point. It sounds good solo or with other instruments.

Recently went to Hulaween Festival in Florida and bought this drum for the trip. It’s fantastic with a perfectly tight drum head and great sound. Great blue shell too.
