"This product comes with a very good adhesive backing. I purchased this for my son's skateboard and had planned to use an adhesive promoter but opted out of that plan. It comes well stickied already. Since the surface of the skateboard has a raised grid design (for grip - complete joke) I decided to use a heat gun once I had applied the grip tape. This allowed me to transfer the raised grid pattern through the grip tape. If that doesn't make sense, no worries, This is a good product and I recommend it to anyone trying to get a grip on lift. APPLICATION INSTRUCTION: (Quick and Easy)
1. CLEAN THE SURFACE
Clean surface with wet cloth thoroughly. Allow the surface to dry completely. Ensure the surface is completely free from dust and grease.
2. MEASURE AND CUT*
Cut the tape to the desired length and round the corners with scissors.(To ensure the non-slip tape has the best bonding to the surface, do not apply the non-slip tape cross the gaps between tiles.)
* Pre-cut non-slip treads can skip this step.
3. PEEL AND STICK
Lay the non-slip strip to the desire location. Lift one end of the strip and peel back the first 2 inches of the backing. Press the tape down as you go. Continue until you have applied the entire strip to the surface. (For stairs, position the tape 1/2 inch from the edge of the stair.)
4. PRESS FIRMLY
Roll over the tape with the application roller. Begin in the center of the strip and roll to one end, then return to the center and roll to the other end.

The Kershaw leak can be a very slippery knife, and I use it as a replacement Exacto knife. I found the stainless steel handle very slippery. I was looking for Skateboard Grip tape to cover the left hand side of the knife and found this tape which keeps the look of the knife while increasing the holding traction a great deal, not as aggressive as skateboard tape but more than functional enough plus looks good

This tape is great! I installed it in my showers/tubs to prevent slipping. It looks nice, it’s transparent but you can still see where it is. It is easy to clean and doesn’t mildew or mold. The durability and waterproofness makes it long lasting and dependable. I really appreciate this quick and easy fix. My next project will consist of sticking it to my outdoor “slippery when wet†tile!

I used these on my stairs to give etra grip for my dog to go up and down. They are super strong and adhere to the stairs imemdiately. Be careful when installing because they are very hard to peel off to realign for your needs. Not crystal clear, more frosted, however they are clean and work well. Warning: We tried to take off one stair and it removed the stain on the wood and left an ugly bare patch where it was originally.

Now I can step out of the bath tub with no fear of falling becauseI step on a rough surface. Real easy to apply to my tile floors wherever I might slip. Stays put and is invisible. This is my reorder to use on more dangerous places. Five photos!

I tried it for a slightly different purpose and it did not work. I placed it on a "lap desk" to see if it would help keep my laptop from sliding around. It did absolutly nothing. It was just as slick as if the tape were not there. I know this isn't the purpose of the tape, but I wanted to mention it. It is a very thick tape and stuck down well. I peeled it off the faux (plastic) wood surface of the lap desk easily after it didn't work (but this was only minutes after I had put it on and really slicked it down). I'm not sure how easily it would come off if left there for a longer time.

Working while carrying laptop around, always feels really slippery and prone to dropping. These provide excellent grip texture without being sandy or sticky. Malleable enough to curve over the surface of the laptop and adhesive bonds well but can be peeled off to reposition if not placed straight at first. Unknown how long it will stick. Happy with this product this far

I am not sure why, but this tape seems to lose its adhesive within 2 days of putting it in the tub. I have tried three times so far, and ensure the tub is cleaned and completely dried before I stick these. Yet, it doesn't seem to work.

Have tried three times to make this tape stick to smooth metal stair treads and it continues to peel back... which apart from being infuriating, it is dangerous...
