Exactly what it's supposed to do, and you get a lot of tape for the money. It works great and the surface stays gritty even after over a year of our dogs running up and down the stairs.

Very easy to cut to size, peel off, and apply to basement steps. After slipping one too many times and narrowly missing more serious injuries, I settled on this product to make my basement steps safer. This gives enough traction to prevent slippage. So far, the adhesive has remained strong, no peeling or lifting. A high quality item at a reasonable price.

Sticks to (smooth) concrete and Trex decking. Our deck stairs were like walking on an oil slick when they get wet. Tape held up to snow and sun so far. Decided to use leftover on concrete steps not expecting much, but it stuck.
