I’ve been playing with the same clear Luyben ligature for the past 14 years. The quality has never once failed me. I have a clarinet music performance degree and I currently play with a professional wind ensemble, and I have recommended this thing to everyone I know. The only reason I might get a new one soon is because the screws in mine are starting to strip.

I have used this exact model of ligature since I was 15 years old (I'm now 40) and I couldn't do without it. I have tried other ligatures, made of other materials, and at different price ranges. But nothing gives me the sound of this simple plastic Luyben. Love it.
