Using it for a chicken door and can't beat it for the price point. Has internal limits for extend and retract. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and seems well built. Not overly loud and only took the chickens a couple of days to get used to it. Will buy more for other projects.item quit working / seller said they will refund 50% of my purchase price

Put this on my lawn sweeper along with a motor controller and remote to raise and lower the sweeper arm without getting of mower. works like a champ. I will try to add some video later.was better quality than I expected and it worked perfectly

Purchased one of these for a CNC router. Very well made. A bit heavy. Unfortunately I needed to modify it for my application (too long).This was great for the price and worked well for my project.The guide rods are hard stainless, very difficult to cut. Difficult to turn down end of center shaft also. If you buy one, make sure it is the right size for your application.Wiring diagram would be nice, but a simple connectivity test with a volt meter helped me out with the motor wiring.

Used on my chicken coop for an automated chicken door. Has been working great for the last 5 months.I don't have it wired yet, due to the remote relay didn't work. But I hooked it up to a different fish finder battery, and it worked as it should.I used this to actuate my chicken coop wifi smart door and its worked without any issues.

I have purchased several of these actuators; they work well, provide a good force, and have almost immeasurable end play. Current draw when loaded is about 1-1/2amperes at 12vdc. The only consideration that I noticed is that different actuators (I have 7 total) make different sounds when they operate; some louder than others. If you need a quiet actuator, these probably are not the best choice. I am using them to control hydraulic valves on a large machine so noise is not an issue for me. The devices have internal end limit switches to prevent over run of the internal screw mechanism and, thus providing safety against damaging equipment. Recommended.This product has made my wings animatronic building so much easier and it works great for distance and moving objects with wheels front and back or up and down depending

I'm pretty happy with the slide on first use. The drawing in the listing is fairly accurate, especially the screw layouts. This is a well built slide unit with a ball screw to facilitate movement. Fit and finish are excellent. No noticeable looseness on guide bars. Adequate mounting options.There is almost no play in the gantry and the drive action is smooth without noticeable backlash or play. Very solid and well squared. Hard to beat for the price and the length of travel.

I thought this actuator was great quality, better than I expected. It arrived way sooner than it predicted too.The product was used to accurately move a work piece precisely into a position. It works well but is a little sloppy but that’s to be expected for the cost of the product.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the locking mechanism didn't work when it arrived. I realized the screw was bottoming out in the hole which was making it unable to tighten it enough. So I had to cut 2mm of the end of the screw to shorten it up and it works perfectly now. Overall I think it was a great purchase.
