My daughter learned how to make a basket with yarn and cording at school. She wanted to take it home and make another one, but the teacher wouldn't let her take home those plastic needles. I found these on here and loved the price. Lion's Brand is a great brand, so I knew I could trust them. They did not disappoint! The case makes it easy to keep track of them without losing them, and they are nice, thick, fat and strong. Perfect for what she needed! Highly recommended purchase for all crafters!

After breaking 9 out of 10 of these needles : within a day or two (I was lacing leather and these needles were extremely brittle), I purchased a pack of these yarn needles. I assumed that they would break rapidly as I am working with heavy veg tan leather but thought, for the low cost, it was worth the risk just to finish the piece.I am surprised and extremely happy with these needles. I am still on the first needle out of the pack (the smallest one) and not only have I completed the one project, but I am now on the third section. These needles are incredibly strong and durable and have proven to be unfazed by a set of pliers. Thank you, Lion Brand, for such a quality product!!!

I crochet a lot and got tired of the plastic needles for weaving in my ends. I am very happy with these metal ones. There are various sizes which works great for different weighted yarn and even after a lot of use, they feel very sturdy and like they will last a long time.I gave 4 stars because I would have liked a better container for them then the little plastic thing they came in.

I have been using plastic needles for weaving in the ends on my crochet and knitting projects. The problem is that the mold marks on the side of the needles keep catching on delicate yarns and pulling them.I ran across these Lion Brand nickel-plated steel needles with big eyes and decided to give them a try. They work fantastic for me. The eyes are big enough to get my yarn through and then the needles themselves seem to glide through my finished projects as I weave the ends.What is even better is that, with this set, you get two each of three different size needles. I can find the size needle that works best with my yarn and I can keep one set in my project work that I keep at home and I can keep the other set with my to-go bag. This works great for my needs.

I keep misplacing my needles (I know!) so I needed to order some more. This is a fantastic set of yarn needles. I make amigurumi (crocheted toys) and the large needle works really well for sewing pieces together and closing my work. The other day, I was sewing a button onto a piece and found that the middle sized needle fit perfectly in the button holes while still being able to use yarn instead of thread. I love it that it is easy to thread the needles and that they are firm enough to not bend as I'm working. Hopefully I can keep better track of these, but if they eventually go to the needle graveyard (probably in my couch) then I will certainly order these again.

These came to my home quickly after the order. I used them all the time in my knitting and crocheting. Most of the time I don't need the Clover Threader because the eye on these needles is that large but occasionally I need the threader for very thick yarn but it helps perfectly. These needles are blunt ended and don't separate the yarn threads as you sew up ends. If you are unacquainted with these needles, they aren't for sewing cloth. They are for knitted or crocheted projects. They are perfect for these.

I find these needles easy to thread with the thicker yarns and you can sew the seams much better than with the smaller needles.
