As someone who has too many useless salad tongs, I think I finally found a pair that I can call keepers. These are made of a nice looking wood, were made with care, they fit my hands and really do the job for me! I make a German Potato Salad in particular that these tongs are really the best choice for. Very pleased!

These are great for tossing our large bowls of salad without crushing or mashing contents. I wash with warm, soapy water, rinse and immediately dry with a towel. Then, probably not necessary, but leave them out on the counter overnight to thoroughly airdry. I bought the cherry finish. They have a nice weight to them (they don't come off as 'cheap'). I would have no problem giving these as a gift to all my salad loving friends. These also look nice with/in the salad bowl when serving guests. Very happy with this purchase.

These things are great. I was going to throw my scissor style old ones in the travel trailer but these are so much better than scissor style tongs I am just ordering a second set for the trailer. Quality wood and easy to hand wash after use. Recommend.

Not only are these made of a good quality wood but they have a small wooden piece at the top so you can rest them on the edge of a salad bowl so they dont fall into the salad and get dressing all over the part you hold

They are much lighter then it was shown on amazon. Looks good though, hope they won't crack easily.
