I had an RV Screen Defender on a previous travel trailer that was perfect. This one did not fit as well on our new 5th wheel. The screen defender itself fit well; however, the plastic pieces used to fill the leftover gap did not as they were not wide enough. The pieces would all fall out when the door was closed.Fortunately, I found a great video on YouTube that showed how to fix the problem by making tabs to fit on each side of the plastic pieces. This worked perfectly, and the screen now not only looks good but stays in when the door is closed or opened.

Works great and super easy to install! I don’t think it will protect against a full on crazy beagle wanting out, but it will definitely protect against any scratching.

Good fit.... Is designed for Lippert screen doors, and fits in the tracks just as it should. I had to replace the first one i received, because I mismeasured the door size. Pay close attention to the measurement instructions, because they probably aren't what you think the are. Other than that, a great product.

It’s an easy install for the screen BUT the height extenders need a redesign. There’s nothing to hold them in — they fall out when the door is closed. They need tabs on either end. Screen good, extenders bad.

We installed the Lippert 859792 Screen Defender RV Entry Door Screen Protector on our 2108TB Winnebago travel trailer, and it has been a fantastic addition. The 26-inch door (22.5†screen kit) fits perfectly and provides excellent protection.Our cat, Vivienne, loves to sit by the door and enjoy the view while we camp. This screen protector ensures she stays secure inside without us worrying about her safety. The sturdy construction is impressive, and it doesn’t obstruct the view, allowing Vivienne to feel like she’s part of the outdoor experience.The instructions were easy to follow and the fit was exactly as expected.If you travel with pets, this screen protector is a must-have. Bought it for our 5th wheel RV with a Lippert door. Following the instructions for Lippert itself - perfect fit and no frustration. Sturdy product and looks great. Would be a 5 star ... but here is the rub. Comes with 4 height extenders. My door screen is about 4-5 inches taller then the "ones size fits all" panel alone. So had to use the 4 erector set filler panels - each of different design and shape. Instructions are useless - unless you are maybe a rocket scientist. A frustrating hour playing with it and trying to make different combos fit together and hang steady and we give up. Have 2 panels installed. A 2" gap at the top remains unfilled. When the door is slammed a panel or 2 fall out as they only have one side connectivity???? Not 2 sides (make them wider Lippert!!!! to slide into the channels) or 3 sides - but gravity and one side alone - and that doesn't even snap in place. Super panel and super easy to install and great looking - and if 2 adults and a crummy instruction sheet could only figure out how to make the gap fill work - or Lippert would redesign them it would be a GREAT product.

Protects the fly screen well, was easy to fit, looks good, but the wedge sections that butt to the bottom of the screen frame could be better designed as they can 'pop out'There are several YouTube videos that show how to mitigate the issue.

We measured EXACTLY as shown on the Lippert video. We also coincidentally have the same size door as on their video (as shown on the sticker in video and our door). We ordered the screen they said they were using, which matched the size the instructions led us to.Unfortunately it is loose. We had to tape in place with black duct tape.I also really don't understand why you need the excrusions at the bottom either. You would think if this is a Lippert product for a Lippert door, it would fit better without needing extra filler pieces.However, the screen itself is good and sturdy, not flimsy, so does the job of protecting the screen from your furry companions.
