Plenty strong enough with proper gap width and leverage length. Discounted price was a big plus. Had to remove 1 star due to burr and sharp edge on smaller end. Needed plastic flex wheel and diamond hone to clean up 1 end then fully polish rough (sand cast like) finish on both ends outside of the grip handle.

This thing works great for working plastic fasteners loose. At first I wasnt sure how it would be different than just prying with a screw driver or some of the other plastic fastener tools, but for whatever reason this thing works great. One end is a little more blunt than the other, and there is a good heft to the tool overall. I wouldnt want to use it where you have painted finishes or are worried about scratches, but on the underside or in the engine bay, this makes short work of getting fasteners out. Wish I had picked it up years ago.

This tool is intended to be used for removing automotive plastic fasteners. But it can be used for prying open many other things like plastic lids, separating one layer of material glued to another layer and other things that need separation. I find myself using this tool frequently and am very pleased to have it.
