I was so glad to find this item. I’ve been using scrub brushes which wear out quickly. Very sturdy and effective for the scratching that my goats do all the time. I’ll be getting more of these. I installed this in minutes and one of my goats was at it as soon as i wad finished.

Just be prepared to buy separate stainless steel screws or deck screws. Otherwise my horses love it. I plan to purchase another one.

I think it’s the perfect size for our horses. We added it to our patience pole and it’s held up nicely. It’s been super durable for us and we may purchase another!

These were cheaper than most, but the bristles wore off in about a month. I feel like they should have lasted longer. I have cattle. So, maybe for smaller animals they'd be better

I have Goats. We installed this at just below head height for them to scratch on. Our boy goats have horns and they often need to scratch around their horns. Everyone loves a scratcher. It’s very durable and heavy duty. It was easy to install, but we used longer screws because our goats are quite big. We installed it on a corner post. The bristles are very firm and I think we will last forever. Amazingly, they have not chewed on the bristles. This was definitely worth the money, but I do think it was a bit pricey. I would purchase again.

Tge screws are poor quality and soft so strip right away when screwing into wood. The scratcher itself seems better quality so very frustrating as now I have to wait for new screws.
