Got this for my daughter, who is just starting violin.The bow has held up so far. Which, for the price, I was half expecting it not to.It seems pretty flimsy, but for what I paid, I fully expected as much. Really not sure if she will stick with it so didn't want to drop a ton to start off.Would definitely recommend for a starter or in a similar case. Definitely not for an experienced violinist. But you can't beat the price.

I actually had this bow before but it got broke by someone so it's a rainbow for fiddle or the violin

The hair of the bow is much more coarse than horse hair. Regardless of amount of rosin applied extremely poor sound quality. We cannibalized the brass eyelet from the new bow and temp. repaired the old one. Sound quality came back immediately. Would not buy again.
