I purchased this bow for my 6 1/2 year old violin student. Her father had purchased a 1/2 size violin outfit and she couldn't reach the fingerboard. So her grandmother asked if I could find her a smaller one. I purchased a quarter size violin outfit but I read that the bow was not good. This is a very nice bow for 1/4 size. They are very happy.

At first, I thought this was going to be a bad buy but it actually turned out really nice. I've been playing for some time so I'm teaching my niece who is 7yrs old how to play the violin and this bow really comes in handy.I was able to put on rosin, although you have to use a lot at the beginning, and it comes with a lot of hair.I recommend this for beginners only, if you're an experienced player or want to upgrade your old bow, I think this bow might not satisfy your request.

Looks and feel good. Great sound. But it looks like the bending is too much. And when you tighten it looks even worse

Only used it once and the entire horse hair slipped out of the end. It would cost more to repair than buying and new bow.

El producto llegó en un estado excelente. El empaquetado es un poco flojo pero de ahà en fuera todo está excelente. Hablando en general de la calidad del producto, todo está excelente, el arco tiene un buen temple y es bastante cómodo. Facilita el hecho de emplear distintas técnicas en el instrumento.Realmente es un arco que puedo recomendar.

Buying bows online without trying them out first is a gamble. I have previously purchased carbon fibre bows that had horrible tension, but this bow is perfect!! I'm ordering another one right now and hopefully the next one would be of the same quality. I find that buying brand new bows is sometimes cheaper than getting a rehair, and for an intensely gigging musician its important to have a durable bow where the hairs last for a long time.
