This is a no-frills small padlock. It's not fancy, but it works fine. The action is smooth for opening and closing, both keys worked correctly. For a typical "long shackle" style, with a brass body and stainless rod, this is priced aggressively. For that reason, I can recommend it over its immediate competition. You're simply not buying something in this category for maximum durability or protection -- these are for gym lockers and such. Price is probably the #1 concern, so it gets my full 5-stars, which I normally reserve for items that somehow go above and beyond their kin.

It's good! A nice cheap little lock that does the job. Is it going to keep out the Lockpicking Lawyer? No. Is it going to keep out someone with bolt cutters? Also probably not. But for $8.99, it will put up enough of a barrier up to keep people from committing idle thefts of opportunity--and that's about what I'd expect of it.

This is a great lock. It's just about the same size and features as a regular MASTER brand lock. Highly recommend it.

This is a brass body lock with a long shackle and a black polymer jacket it has two keys they both open the lock and function as intended smoothly entering exiting the key way. I think at the price point that it's built very well and decent materials were used. If I were just rating this on locksport it would be five stars but as most people are looking for a lock that's how I'm judging it. That being said it is surprisingly difficult to pick it's got five cuts on the key but I'm really confident there's only actually four pins but this does not stop it from being immensely frustrating to try and pick open with spp so at this price point that's a value for the money for sure. But if you are the average person who's just looking for a padlock at a good price this could definitely be the lock for you as well depending on its application. As I said it is very tricky to get into with non-destructive entry methods but the key word there is non-destructive I don't think this would hold up very well to a pry bar drills cutting saws etc but all those things create a lot of noise and just because you could break it easily with a long Pry bar does not mean that it would not be super loud. So as long as you're not using it on something that's going to be very isolated or rarely has people around it should be fine even for something say like the shed in the backyard it would do fine but if it's going to be put in a place for a person could have some time alone probably not going to stand up to the challenge but all things considered especially price point this is a good lock and I'm really starting to become a fan of rook mad

The look and feel of this lock is very nice. It also operates smoothly and does bind or feeel gritty. I like the aesthetic of the black silicone cover. It's a pretty great small to mid sized lock.

As evident from the dimensions, this is a small light duty padlock. Can add that the shackle is about 1/8" in diameter. The long shackle is a trade-off - increases security against some attacks, increases vulnerability to others. The water-resistance for outdoor use is a bonus though only time will tell.Had an heavy duty padlock for a shed which got cut. It was a 2-pack so I replaced it with its twin which was being used as a gym lock. This is my new gym padlock. Seems to provide sufficient security, works smoothly (it's new!), and is a good value.Brass and 304 stainless steel aren't particularly strong but more than enough as a padlock for lockers, bags or small boxes. Deducted one star because it isn't a high security option with matching price tag.

This is a solid but lightweight padlock. It opened smoothly with the provided keys. Not too easy for me to pick.

This is a decent little padlock. It works just fine. I would order this again if I needed another. I don't really have any complaints about it.
