Very sturdy. Mounting kit included. Extends very high and you can change the angle. Built like a tank should last forever.

Just received two of these, one was missing the pack of mounting hardware and the baby pin stud. The packaging was sealed and intact so it was not lost in shipping. The website and phone number supplied by Amazon to contact this brand for support both went nowhere- website is a 404, phone number is a Google Voice number with no answer.I contacted Amazon support through chat and luckily they will be fixing the problem.Past all that the arms seems decent quality. The joints/locks are plastic which isn't ideal but for the price and the listed weight limit is probably fine.

I specifically use it as a wall mounted boom arm for my microphone when I'm playing games with my friends. It is easy to mount and you can probably get away with just mounting it on drywall anchors but I chose to stud mount it. It is very easily adjustable in many ways including length, rotating the actual shaft, swinging the arm side to side, rasing it up or lowering it. My microphone is also mounted with a shock mount which adds some weight. The total weight is probably about 2 pounds which it can handle easily. The quality of the parts is pretty good and I would even trust it with a 20-30lbs payload. Of course, if you make the it tight enough.

I’m so annoyed, the product came with barely any useful instructions and I have no idea how to unhook this thing to mount it to the wall. like really? Have enough decency to send someone the correct instructions dude
