Ordered this Trailer Leaf Spring Kit, 3500lb Tandem Trailer Axle Suspension Kit for a 5' X 8' Utility Trailer that myself and Son is building as a "Father/Son Project". Recently been building/Welding on trailer frame and floor support bars for a utility trailer were building together. Son recently got him a new Mig welder and has been practicing on various small projects and doing repairs on an old trailer of mine. He's really getting into the welding and repairs and likes doing that type of work. So we decided to build a brand new trailer from scratch, ground up. I knew we would need an axle, along with leaf spring kit for it.Have been looking around local stores and online for the right size and weight. While comparing other various kits, designs, and weights, I chose this kit and ordered. We have the frame almost ready and cross member floor supports, and now axle. When this spring kit arrived, it was just what we needed and size.I like the (4) leaf spring design and the "noise free bushings in spring ends". This is a heavier weight kit made of durable steel & rated 3,500 LBS. It came with the U brackets, shackles, and few bolts. The kit came painted black and seemed to be ready to install. The only "cons" I have is that it arrived in a very light duty box, pretty beaten up, and part of the bolts and nuts were missing. Will have to go and get at local HDWE store so we can finish project. Other that missing bolts/nuts, happy with order

Swapped out some really wispy ancient springs on my homemade sawmill. Now it rides smooth and level, and the swap was straight forward and easy. Worked out great welding the parts to a strip of plate to simplify placement and avoid welding across the structural members. Highly recommend. Great price.

All of the parts you need to hang a 3500# axle on your trailer frame. Weld on spring brackets and shackles, axle u bolts and spring plates are all top quality. You get all of the hardware with locking nuts and a pair of springs with bushings installed. Very complete kit, worked well for me.
