Magnetic Base for Remote
The wireless remote base is magnetic, so you can mount it on any magnetic surface such as on your door frame or on the fridge, its detachable magnetic base plate with adhesive tape on the back allows you to make the remote a wall switch easily by mounting it on a flat wooden, glass, plastic, rubber or metal surface. Fix the remote base plate to any spot you want, so that you can reach it easily.

I have a cheap 2 light floor lamp in my office that I frequently forget to turn off. Since we have the light bulb adapters from this company I decided to try the plug adapter.It could not have been easier to install. Just unplug the lamp, plug in the adapter, then plug the lamp into the adapter. The switch/controller is already synced with the plug so it works right out of the box. I wasn’t sure how well the adhesive on the switch would stick to my textured wall, but it’s very strong and appears it will stay until I’m ready to take it down. Now just hoping I’ll remember to hit the off button on my way out each evening.

I purchased these remotely controlled outlets to switch on/off 5 LED 4’ long shop lights in my garage. These shop lights are scattered throughout my garage, so I would have to go to each of the 5 lights and individually pull the chain to shut off these lights. A few of these pull chains are difficult to reach, so I fed 3 lights from one remote controlled outlet, and the remaining 2 from another remote controlled outlet. I fed each string of lights from an extension cord plugged into the remote controlled outlet, so all lights in the string would turn on or off together. The slender design of the remote outlet is such that it does not block the second outlet on an outlet box- very handy! Note that this slender size does have a slightly lower amperage rating, but in my case the lights pull very little power.I was surprised at the compact size of the outlets and the remote control; also, the design of the remote is quite cool as it is a puck shape with sculpted on and off buttons. The back of the remote has double-sided tape as well as magnets for attaching to various surfaces. And, best of all, the remote is easily detached from the base (I utilized the double-sided tape) when it’s time to change the battery. Very clever!I expected a bit of a hassle getting these outlets to “talk†to the remote, but there was no issue at all: I plugged in each outlet, plugged the lights into each, and the lights switched on or off via the remote perfectly!I’m very pleased with the design and construction of this remote/outlet set. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this gadget! I bought this to plug my Christmas lights in for the tree. This is amazing and I don’t have to climb behind the tree to unplug the lights anymore. Just have to press the button on the remote and it turns them on and off! I am going to buy one for my Gram to help her with her lights! Highly recommend!

Like many others, I needed this to control a lamp in a far section of a large room. When I first attempted to plug the receiver into the wall, it's diameter was too large to exist with another device's power adapter on that same outlet. Not a big deal for me, but could be frustrating for someone else who isn't expecting to have to reroute/reposition adapters for multiple things to accommodate this receiver.There's a pairing process, and it involves pressing the button on the side of the receiver for a few seconds until the button flashes. The problem is that my fingers are a bit thick, so my finger was larger than the button surface, and prevented me from seeing the flashing light. No big deal, I just counted to 3, and took my finger off to check it. Other than that, the pairing process was very easy.That was it. The remote worked on the first attempt, and it solves one of life's many tiny headaches. The remote does have a separate magnetic base, but I don't plan to use it. Despite the small issues I mentioned, I highly recommend this device.

The way my apartment is set up, there is no light switch controlled outlet in the area where my Christmas tree gets set up. I bought this little gadget on a whim and i love it! Works right out of the box, and saved me from having to practically crawl underneath my tree to turn the lights on. 10/10, worth every penny
