Used this to shade our garden area and our porch last summer when it was 108 degrees for months. Reduced the heat while allowing filtered light to come in.

I needed to make a greenhouse of sorts to protect flowers all summer that I planted too late in the spring. This tarp was light and airy. It allowed plenty of air circulation enough light while blocking out the powerful UV rays. It saved my flowers over the summer. When I took it down after a few months, it was still in great shape in spite of being clipped to rods in numerous locations, withstood some heavy winds and a lot of heat and sun. Highly recommend.

overall, I’m quite pleased with its performance. The UV-resistant material does a great job of blocking out the sunlight, as described. I just wish that there are more size options

Worked very well on my young fig trees here in Texas. I simply drove in t-posts and tied it to the posts and saved my trees.

I bought this shade cloth to put over some Swiss chard during the hot and intense summer of southern NC. I bought 6 ft lengths of PVC and inserted each end of the PVC into the side of my raised beds and then draped the shade cloth over the PVC "hoops." I used garden wire to tie the shade cloth to the hoops. I did not want the Swiss chard to be covered entirely from side to side and so the draped shade cloth came down about 2/3rds of the way. This was also useful for having access to water since rain in the area was a no show for most of the summer. I used the end grommets at each end to tie onto sturdy stakes since thunderstorm winds can get very strong and I was not sure it would not blow away tied directly to the PVC hoops. This shade cloth withstood it all and did exactly what I wanted it to do which was keep the Swiss chard from dying in the intense sunlight. It held up to winds, sun and rain with no tears or rips nor did it unravel. I have now unveiled the Swiss chard to continue growing in the cooler and shorter days for a beautiful fall crop. I would highly recommend this as a way to get shade over something during the hot summer.

It is a good quality product for the shading of my crops. However, for cladding the GreenHouse and protecting from crop predators, such as monkeys tearing into the fabric, I had to get Privacy screen instead. But good product though.

This really helped in my garden last summer. Can't wait to use it again. I actually washed it and it survived.

Our lemon tree was showing signs of sunburn on the fruit. The shade cloth could almost be described as a net - it is so lightweight. I simply draped it over the tree. There is minimal limb bending and it stays put with only a few tie points.Even if it lasts only one season, I'm content that our fruit is now protected.
